"Improving deferred maintenance"

I don't write a lot of reviews but I am writing this one. The owner of this motel is trying hard. The place clearly has huge amounts of deferred maintenance. It shows everywhere. But he is trying hard. 60 guests the night before. One cleaning person. He pitched in. Good marks for making a better place. Don't expect it to be perfect.

"Comfy for the price"

Very comfortable for the price. The building was a little dated but you could see they were working to update it. We had issues with the flushing of the toilet and the paper wouldn’t go down.

"NASTY ROOM & LIEING PERSON "

After a long traffic filled evening/ you don’t expect to get a room that hasn’t been cleaned ‼️ Poop stain in toilet & tub discussing. We wouldn’t even shower- so BAD. I called the booking company/ & someone told him- that we were difficult to deal with/ that we had changed rooms. THAT IS A LIE‼️ I will NEVER GO BACK HERE‼️

"Customer service training needed"

The man who answered the phone at the hotel was rude and unfriendly. A little too blunt in my opinion. If he had good customer service, we would not be leaving his comment. The lady doing the cleaning of the rooms was VERY nice and should be promoted for doing all of the cleaning of so many rooms. They definitely need more quality help and QUALITY, customer service oriented people to make this hotel better.

"DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL!"

DO NOT BOOK A RESERVATION HERE! My company is a Disaster Recovery Contractor. A member of my team drove several hours to this hotel, to which, I had booked him a reservation, paid in full. Upon check-in around 9:00pm (after being on the road most of the day) he was told (along with several others) that they did not have a room for him and that they were oversold. My employee was forced to drive another 2 hours to a place to stay that evening. To make things worse, I attempted to obtain a refund for my reservation, paid in full. Hotels.com contacted the hotel and they denied the request. I will be disputing the charge with my credit card company and will be filing a formal complaint. At this point, its the principal. DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT STAY HERE!

My wife booked this property for me via Expedia as I am a truck driver and needed a place to stay for the night so I would not drive past my duty hours. When I arrived, I was refused a room upon checkin because the front desk said no rooms were available. This meant I had no choice but to sleep in my truck in the parking lot because driving to another hotel would have put me over my hours. My wife contacted Expedia for a refund and so far has not received one because they said that they needed to confirm this with the hotel and so far, for about 3 days now, the hotel has refused to answer the phone or reply to any of Expedia's emails. A Better Business Bureau complaint has since been filed to get my money back. Completely ridiculous.

Lots of hair in bath tub and on floor Rugs coming up and used bar of soap left by sink. Gives you the feeling maid service is lacking
