Inn at Monticello

This is a dreadful hotel. I would give negative stars if possible. Filthy, unsafe, falling apart, populated by marginal people. I think this place is beyond repair - needs to be shut down and razed. The desk staff were ok and helpful to a point, but this place is uninhabitable and a menace. Nothing they can help with.

This so-called hotel is grotesque. It seems to be a repository for homeless or Section 8 rather than a hotel. The furniture and lamps and window curtains were broken or not functioning or in bad condition. The bed and floor did appear clean though. The check in person at the front desk was pleasant. But the building and the room were so shabby. It was just plain depressing.

This Motel is primarily for homeless, transient individuals and families. It cries out for caring and competent programs and services for them. The staff, especially, the young lady manning the desk, was wonderful. But they are in a hopeless situation. Governmental hostility, incompetence, and general lack of compassion are fully at play here.

Roaches in room and bed bugs room was dirty beyond belief and staff is horrible and threatened to call police for ny complaints even no TV in room and no hot water to take shower didn't get money back or anything for my nightmare of a stay I had. Do not stay there it should be condemned by the health department immediately

Needle in the bed, yes, we snapped a photo after we found it and then we left. The heater also kept blowing out what felt like fiberglass insulation particles when it landed in your eyes but it was probably just dirt. When we checked in, despite our Expedia reservation, they did not have a room with two beds available although they did transfer someone else out to accommodate us. Overall, a filthy place and that’s not right even if it is the lowest price around.

This is a hotel in very bad condition, if you can afford to pay a little more you need to stay away from this hotel. First of all they wanted to charge me more of what I was offered at Expedia. I have to show proof of my reservation with the rate from Expedia. At the end, you get what you pay for...

Front staff was super happy and engaged. Room was in terrible shape and smelled horribly of cigarette smoke. We were only staying for one night and we made do. Should have read reviews before booking.
