Inn at Monticello

The smoke smell was intolerable and the room was definitely dirty. The carpet was damp, the comforter had stains and the walls were dirty. But really, the smoke smell was awful!! We went to Walgreens for air fresheners and sprays and it didn't even impact the ashtray smell. Saying you get what you pay for is appropriate. Previous reviews said they felt unsafe... i didn't get that. We were approached by a woman while we were walking our dogs and she definitely looked like a drug addict, but she was harmless. The place was $57 for the night. It was what it was.

Stay away from this hotel. I have not seen this degree of filth even in the hotels in India. Sleep in your car or find a campground and you will be far better off.

Place needs a lot of TLC, cables didn’t work and the floor was a mess. Stated non smoking room but the entire room smelled like smoke.

The hotel is run down and one of the worst hotels ive stayed in. Some would say u get what u pay for but ive stayed in cheeper hotels that were cleaner. Stains on floor and room is falling apart and Beding was ripped. My non smoking room smelt like i slept in a pack of lit cigarettes. The outside had drug dealers selling in the parking lots and probably other criminal activities happening on the property and in the rooms. Now if u need a bed and shower they got that. The staff were good no complaints there they are trying to deal with the activities happening on there property and law enforcement was there alot. they have alot of security cameras on property witch gives u a very small amount of comfort but proves this is not a new issue and probably wont stop being one. Overall this hotel is bad and if you can afford a different one i highly recommend.

The hotel shows photos but in reality the rooms are very dirty the bathroom really needs repairs everything is very dirty disgusting

Filthy

Toilet won’t flush. Door won’t lock. Non smoke room reeked of smoke. Dingy dirty everything. Photos on site were nice, room was crap. Rooms 107 and 210. Went elsewhere.

They refused to give me a refund 5 minutes after I booked with Expedia. We arrived and property appeared unsafe and run down.

This the absolute worst hotel I have ever stayed in. I seriously feared my safety and the safety of my car. If I could give negative stars I would. This place is a disaster in a bad neighborhood. Stay away. Seriously.
