the state of the room, the facilities weren’t up to standards! breakfast was only available for the amount you pay for. upon check in the key for our door wasn’t even working. we specifically stated that the hotel room was booked for our honeymoon and nothing was set accordingly.

Was hard to control the AC in the room which we needed to keep us cool but there were no blankets just a sheet so by day 2 we all had stuffed sinuses and were freezing cold throughout the night. Requested a blanket but it never came. Pool tiles were falling off and one of my girls was injured on her foot by it. Another older girl hurt her knee on a broken tile also
AUI liked that the Fiji7s Rugby team was also accommodated there at the same time 😅 we picked this resort as it was close to the Coral Coast Sevens Tournament that we had flown over to attend for the weekend. The location was nice and quiet, our two bedroom villa was very spacious. Not many guests so when ordering our meals and drinks staff were prompt & very accommodating.
On our 2nd night we noticed the water was cut off from bathroom and kitchen faucets. There was no prior mention of this to us, so that we might prepare for it. Early next morning I called the reception desk from my mobile phone to raise the issue that they obviously weren’t aware of, however, they responded quickly & mentioned they will turn on the emergency water supply. We received water flow within minutes. The kitchen in our villa could do with an upgrade along with the pool area having noticed missing tiles. The driveway leading to our villa could do with a sealed surface, when we had to leave with our travel cases, having to wheel them all the way back to the reception area for checkout, that portion of unsealed driveway was difficult to access with our luggage & no concierge/staff around to help.

There is not much love, cozyness, decoration or anything nice put into. Looks like they finished building it and opened it next day. Big empty spaces. No real beach or anything to do there.
