Econo Lodge Martin

Location was great. Only complaint is housekeeping needs to do better job of cleaning out fridge and under beds. Pool also needs some fixing as well as hot tub.

There are little spiders everywhere, mostly outside on the sidewalk but a few in the room. Front desk clerk very attentive and helpful.

Nice and clean room

Air conditioner didn't work. Burn marks on comforter. Door stuck, very hard to open. Toilet paper holder falling out of the wall. All lights on one switch. Smell in bathroom. Apparently other rooms had problems with their door as each time they would go in or out, they had to slam their door.

Better than expected hot breakfast!

The first room I was assigned had crusty nastiness visible on the sheet - without even pulling back the top cover. I was given another room when I went back to the front desk. This hotel is old and needs to be refreshed big-time. It is clean but so old I think it is hard to make it feel "clean." It was the kind of place that you check under the sheets to look at the mattress (which didn't show any signs of bedbugs.) There was cracked plaster in the room, etc. But the carpet was clean, the tub and bathroom area were clean, just old. There is a micro and refrigerator which is convenient. Lots of fast food near by and restaurants as well. The breakfast was basic but good (muffins, oatmeal, biscuits w/gravy, yogurt.) You don't have many options in Martin so I tried this to save money for a one night stay. Not sure if I'd stay there it for multiple days

This was the most horrible stay. The room smelled like a cat had pottied in there alot!The shower head was eye level! The bed was comfortable and clean. The TV wouldn't connect, and I messed with it to get the source to tv. If you turned it off, you had to reset every setting. Breakfast was fine, but there was no one to check out with. The smell was so overwhelming it overshadowed any good. Clean up please!!!

i had to leave at midnight as my dog got hives from the room. He could smell other dogs which i understand it is a pet room but he got them from the bed so it made me very uncomfortable and itchy! I had to leave after spending all that money. I have back injury so trying to cut my trip in half but couldn't so arrived at my destination in not a very good state! i got offered a different room but by this stage my dogs face a body was swelled up! I just hope the room wasn't full of fleas!

We stayed for an honor band activity at UT Martin. The hotel room was dated, but overall, well kept. The staff were very friendly. The cleaning crew were a little impatient. They knocked on the door and before I could answer, they opened the door, so remember to hang your 'Do not disturb" sign. The hotel is very close to fast food restaurants, the college, and a Walmart.

In the middle of it all Is where Econolodge sits not having to worry about finding places to eat or the closest Walmart enjoyed my stay
