Our stay was great. Daniela and her spouse did everything possible so that our stay was super comfy: in Serra, February can be quite cold, so Daniela warmed up our room for us. The mattress was very comfortable, and the bathroom spotless. Breakfast was extremely diverse and with regional and homemade products - a great way to display the gastronomic richness of the region. Daniela also provided us with a list of places to eat and the resources about what to do in the natural park available in Casa Mariolas were really helpful. We loved our stay!

Great view from room; excellent interaction with owner who was extremely knowledgeable about the area. The bed was comfortable and the breakfast was full and delicious made with care with products from the region.

Shared refrigeration for food and ice would have been nice.

The property had a beautiful backyard where my sister spent her day. The rest of us spent the day going on a hike/walk. The hiking trail was very quiet. Daniela is a wonderful hostess. She gave us suggestions for hikes, meals and places to visit on our way back to Coimbra. The breakfast was very good.

Daniela and Paulo‘s very helpful advice for hiking, their unvaluable help to get a flat tire fixed by a professionnal on an easter sunday, the view from the bedroom, the breakfast (killer homemade jams!)

Our stay in Casa Mariolas was perfect. Daniela is super-host, she cared for our comfortable stay and recommended us great trekkings (astonishing mountains!). Breakfast was regional. In the room we had big, comfortable bed. Very nice common space inside and outside and interesting gallery. Perfectly located near hiking trails but in the town, near the shop and restaurants.

One little disadvantage was size of the room and small wardrobe.
