Homewood Suites By Hilton Chula Vista Eastlake

We flew in today had the nerve to arrive at the hotel at 1:30. We were prechecked in and told our room would be ready in 30 minutes. After waiting in the lobby for an over an hour (watching as person after person was checked in and given their keys and packages), we inquired when our room would be ready. We were told that the room was being cleaned it would be another 15 minutes. 35 minutes later, we still didn't have our room. We went up to the front desk again and RAQUEL interrupted me several times as I was recounting our wait to make sure I knew that it was only a few minutes after 3pm and we are in the middle of a pandemic and to tell me to stop being so rude. I am very curious as to how bad guest service, walking back on your word, not following up with waiting guests and being horribly rude to a guest has anything to do with the pandemic. I'm also curious as to when it became acceptable for a Hilton Honors member to be treated like this. I personally am a Hilton Honors Gold member so I caution other HH members - if they treat their Elite members like this, I can't imagine how they treat others.

For us a great location very close to the old Olympic training center. This place has everything you need and rates as one of the better Hilton properties I have had the pleasure of using. Enjoy this great location.

The Hotel accommodations overall were great. Very clean hotel, the staff were amazing. Breakfast was also good each morning. My only issue was that I had a room right below an individual with a “service animal”. I highly doubt it was a service animal as the dog barked all day and all night, and jumped all around. I worked overnights and couldn’t get any sleep. I was told the individual would be moving rooms, but it never happened. 2.5 weeks of lack of sleep. I think there should be some guidelines about pets in the hotel. I don’t blame the hotel specifically for the noise, but something more could have been done. They should really occupy the lower level rooms, especially when they’re highly active. I ended my intended 2 month stay early, and checked into another hotel, as there were no rooms available for me to move into. I would stay again, but be sure to ask for a fourth floor room.

The rooms were amazing, spacious, and very well insulated because I didnt hear the party going on next to me LOL im kidding. My stay was amazing and it was mainly because the hotel and my room, specifically my bed <3

The hotel is new, and so the rooms are much better than usual, in hotels of the same price. And better of all, the hotel is 20 min from the cbx bridge to the tijuana airport.

I stayed here with my daughter since my husband was working on renovating our floors. I expected better since the hotel had great reviews. The hotels felt understaffed with frustrated employees checking people in. I asked for dish soap and I never got it, hours later I had to call again to get it. I also told them they had ran out of towels at the pool, I waited in the lobby with my soaked up 5 yr old until they gave me one since they never took any out. The people were nice, but seemed stressed attending to the guests over the busy weekend. The pool area wasn't clean, with used up masks on the ground and trash by the bushes I was disappointed. I stayed there two nights and I did not see the pool get cleaned, the next day the pool was leafy and it even had bundles of hair (yes, hair). This is supposed to be a family friendly hotel and some guest would play loud music on personal speakers which I find inappropriate, but there was no one inspecting the pool area. I honestly regret not staying at the Residence Inn for $10 bucks more a night.

This place was pretty unique. One side was the Hampton inn and the other Homewood Suites. We stayed at the Homewood suites. We are a family of 4 with kids at age 5 and 1. There was plenty of room for all of us and the kids to run around without feeling cramped in the room. The bed for adults and the sofa sleeper for the kids. The kitchen just made this whole place feel even more at home with a full size refrigerator, induction stove, microwave, sink, and essentials. We enjoyed our stay.

So clean! Will definitely come back.

A go-to hotel. Rooms are always clean, staff is always super helpful & friendly. Location is near a mall & lots of restaurants. Perfect stay cation spot
