Incredible stay, could not have asked for a better way to kick off our first time in Nicaragua. The owner acts on extremely respectable business practices and was accommodating and kind in every way. The staff were truly so nice and helpful as well. The food for breakfast, lunch, and dinner was incredible- we ate at the hotel for many meals and each one was delicious and priced very reasonably. The bar had great drinks and cheap beer that we would often take to the hammocks overlooking the ocean- truly a great three days. The surf breaks in front were exactly what we were looking for and the pool was clean and cool to relax in as well. We look forward to staying here again one day. Thank you guys!

Coming to Nicaragua we were hesitant to book a place so far from the city but we think it was the best decision we could have made. The staff were so kind and welcoming. The food and service were top notch. Transportation was sorted for us before arrival and local recommendations were great as well. Truly the best place we could have stayed.

Nice place to relax and enjoy the beach
I wish I could give this place a low score to keep it off people’s radar, but I can’t keep this gem to myself. Where to start…The staff are all amazing and super helpful. Willing to book horse back riding, taxis or get you set up with a motorcycle rental. The rooms are cleaned daily and there is always someone around to take a food or beverage order. I travelled there with husband and two teenagers. Kids were pretty independent on site. They swam everyday, played in the ocean out front or walked the beach. They fell in love the two cats - Marlee and Snowball and dogs Kaya and Ziggy. We felt super safe. What I wish I had known was how close various beaches were. So if you’re heading down to surf, there is a spot 5 min walk south. 10 mins north you’ll hit beginners beach - great for kids. At that beach there is a restaurant you can eat at, at the top of the hill called Magnific Rock I think. Beautiful for sunsets. Beyond Beginner further north is Popoyo surf break. We used a motorcycle with surfboard carrier to shuttle ourselves to Beginners Beach and Popoyo as it was easier. We didn’t fly any surfboards down. Costa Oeste has some to rent on site or you can rent at Beginners Bay if you don’t want to transport it down the windy beach. Food - amazing. We ate at Costa Oeste a lot or ventured next door for great vegetarian and vegan fare. Surf 99 was okay. The red building at Magnific Rick was really good too. No issues eating the veggies or drinking ice cubes. Hope that helps!

Fantastic stay, staff is amazing, talk to you by name, dining option was 5 star, location on beach was incredible, to not choose this place would be a big mistake , book it !
