La Gioiella Capri

The property itself was very beautiful and the views were really stunning from the front porch. The space was big and the beds were comfortable. The location is about a 10 minute walk to the city center with shops and restaurants/gelaterias, but keep in mind you need to walk a very narrow street where cars are driving extremely fast in both directions, so it’s very dangerous. I would not recommend staying here with kids, as walking out of the property is too dangerous.

The cleanliness of the property isn’t great. A lot of mold detected in the bathrooms. We had problems with the water not draining in the showers and sinks, although the host was responsible and sent someone to fix this issue in 1 of the bathrooms the next day. I tried to have her fix it in the second bathroom but couldn’t be done in a timely manner.

Everything — the breathtaking views, the beautiful decor and design, the cozy and charming atmosphere, and the thoughtful amenities throughout the house. The host was wonderful, super responsive and supportive to all our needs, and made us feel completely at home. One of the most special places we’ve ever stayed.

Mega schöner Ausblick, tolle Terrasse, sehr sauber, tolle Zimmer, gute Ausstattung, sehr schnelle Erreichbarkeit der Gastgeber, wir wären sehr gern noch länger geblieben, ganz tolle Unterkunft!!

Problematisch mit älteren Personen und kleinen Kindern, da nur wenige Zentimeter hinter dem Ausgangstor eine stark befahrene Straße liegt, ohne Fußgängerweg - man muss sehr aufpassen wenn man von der Unterkunft ins Zentrum laufen möchte, man läuft direkt auf der Straße mit viel Verkehr in beide Richtungen. Leider hat das WLAN bei uns nicht funktioniert.

The staff were incredibly kind, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. In my very special case, as I planned a marriage proposal during our stay, they went above and beyond to help me with every detail. Their support, discretion, and willingness to assist made the moment truly unforgettable, and I am deeply grateful for that. Thanks to the amazing team, the proposal turned out perfect, and it’s a memory we will cherish forever. I can wholeheartedly recommend this accommodation to anyone looking for an exceptional experience. We would come back without hesitation. Thank you again for everything!
