Loved staying at Kamarkoe. I first stayed here with my family and couldn't resist going back with my husband. The service was excellent. The pool was lovely. It's located in such great access everywhere. The only input I have is to improve the wi-fi connection. I stayed in Floor 1 and 3 and somehow got better reception the higher I went.

While Kamarkoe can give you a suitable room with decently clean sheets and whatnot, it's the environment outside that unfortunately reflects badly on the hotel and creates a noisy uncomfortable stay. First, somebody is often doing metal work in and around the lobby area of the hotel during the daytime, usually in or near the parking lot for customers and so on. When I spoke to them about it, they said it was just temporary, but it went on for an entire day, and I spoke to local residents who said that this is often happening. Kamarkoe management, your hotel is not a METAL WORKING SHOP, please do your repairs or whatever in an offsite location or get it done quickly and done with one time, there's no excuse for hours of grinding and cutting metal on-site. If it is your neighbor who is doing it, get them to stop, because it is ruining your guest's peace and quiet. It is also unsafe for children, and creates a noxious chemical smell in the area. Second, you may have heard about the infamous Bali taxi / gojek conflict -- search Youtube to see customers in a taxi getting harassed by local drivers opposed to online ride hailing apps. Right next to Kamarkoe is some kind of local drivers open-air clubhouse, where they seem to sit all day and all evening yelling, playing loud music and karaoke, gambling or whatever. Their noise can be heard throughout the entire hotel and neighborhood from hundreds of meters away it seems. It stops after 10pm when the drivers go home, but can start quite early at 6-8am. Also, the drivers park their cars in the streets nearby making it crowded. Finally if all that wasn't bad enough, you are made to walk 400m to a Circle K if you actually do want to use an App. If you try to get your app's driver to enter the area, they will often reject the ride and you are stuck searching or walking for ten minutes. Although the driver clubhouse is not on Kamarkoe property. The drivers, meanwhile, try to extort tourists to pay 2x - 4x the normal fares with the excuse they are providing 'guide' service... Thanks but I don't need a guide to the airport, I just want to get there without getting hassled or late because some drivers don't like using new technology. Kamarkoe, I get that you need to respect local drivers, but you should tell those drivers they also need to respect your guests, who have paid good money to stay at your hotel and are having their transportation and peace disturbed by this. Otherwise, I had no complaints about the hotel, the staff are nice and friendly just unable to help fix noise problems, so if you're into saving money and not bothered by safety or environment concerns, it still is a good bargain.

We didn't have breakfast but from the menu it looks like they have a great selection of breakfast location a bit out reach as in about 10 mins easy walk to seminyak centre, there; always taxi in front of the hotel which is handy
