I asked for a non smoking room and was clearly put in a Smoking room. When I told the front desk he offered me spray. The bath tub was necessary dirty but stained and tiny and I didn’t want to get in.

Overall this place is an excellent value for the $. They're just finishing a renovation, so the paint was new, there are some really nice lighting touches, and it's remarkably clean in the rooms. You can tell they're working on a budget--the fridge in my deluxe double was spraypainted to look new, but was old enough to make a notable racket at night when the compressor kicked on. Wasn't bad enough to complain about, though--we just kinda got used to it as white noise. I do believe that if we had complained, they would have done their best to switch us rooms or otherwise fix the issue. (Another tip--the TVs aren't quite set right; you have to select the HDMI input every time you turn the TV on, otherwise you'll just get snow.) But these are obvious growing pains, and my girlfriend & I were very happy with our stay. The staff even took the time to show us the room before assigning it. Parking was okay, despite a couple large dumpsters still on-site. Location is...well, it's Chesapeake. Not bad, considering some of the places we've stayed there. Note to staff: I'd recommend stocking extra toilet paper--I had to grab some in an emergency off the cart our fist morning, filling the kleenex dispenser, and for the kitchen suites, maybe some $ store cookware & dishes?

Property been remodeled, a lot of noise & foot traffic. Room was clean, it was a smoking room so you could smell the order when you open door. Light switch does not work. Overall nice room, king size bed, tv, fridge, microwave all items worked. Bathroom was a nice size & clean. The sink area is outside the bathroom. The staff was nice & friendly.

Cannot beat the price! I had an issue with the key in the room and they fixed it immediately then another issue with TV (operators error) and they fixed that too! If looking for quick stay so you can 2 days at beach instead of 1 with an overnight stay this is the place. Only 20 mins from oceanfront. Would stay here again $70 cannot beat that
