GBStaff were lovely, bed was comfy and it was clean. Tv was good, all apps and so you weren’t nailed to normal rubbish hotel tv.
Sooooo noisy and it sounded like someone eas sawing wood above my head at around 11 and again at around 6am. Security alarm arming went on for ages and all i wanted to do was pass out. No shower gel in the shower, tried raising shower head and it fell to bits. The odd selection of mixer valve meant whenever i moved i changed the water temp (heavy ish set 6ft bloke)

GBVery friendly staff, nice clean room. Very pleasant eating area. Lovely gardens for eating drinking outside. Very good food. Perfect position 5 minutes from M1. Good value for money.
Only thing being a reduced menu midweek. But I understand this as most locations must have reduced customers at this time. Actually a bit of a positive as what we had was good. Maybe some places spread themselves too thinly trying to provide variety and quality suffers.

GBWe broke our journey home from holiday at this pub. It is located in a small village but very close to Rugby and road links and has a large car park. The evening meal was good. The staff very friendly and very helpful. The bar was frequented by the locals which is always nice to chat with them. As they only have 4 rooms they do not do breakfast but recommended a cafe a few miles away. The rooms were comfortable and quiet at night - we had one at the back.
The bathroom with our room was tiny and needed a bit of a deep clean as some mold was forming in some corners.
GBGBWhilst the overall pub/restaurant was very attractive and popular, the bedroom we had (room1) was very small, with very little space or furniture on which to place our clothes etc. The en-suite shower room was particularly inadequate as there were no shelves or surfaces on which to place toothbrushes or toiletries (no toiletries were provided other than some hand wash. Furthermore, the basin waste was partially blocked as it took ages to empty the washbasin. However, the staff were friendly and welcoming and the price of the room was very reasonable; other bedrooms may be much better but I would not recommend a stay in room 1
GBthe bed was poor. hard mattress with springs felt. a Topper would have made a difference. decor not brilliant.
i would have liked a more comfortable bed. bed poor standard. the ripped side shades didnt matter too much but why arent they replaced? grouting in shower needs replacing. paying £60 per night is something without breakfast
