Room was ok, attention needed to wardrobe (door needed fixing). Other workmen staying there were banging around outside and making noise / shouting/very loud until after midnight on 3 occasions with no regard to others staying there. In the morning lights worked but no electric for some reason for kettle / tv / lamps etc but thankfully shower was hot regardless and with decent towels. We didn't expect much at the price but wanted at least a decent sleep which we didn't get as they woke us again just before 7am doing the same. A shame it didnt work out as was looking for accommodation to use in the area occasionally. We won't be returning.
GBWe had a comfortable sleep and enjoyable stay overall and it was quiet despite being next to a main road.
We had no hot water in the showroom sink which meant we were not able to wash and had to use the shower which let the stay down. Ths sink tap was too powerful for the sink and would wet the floor and us if we didnt temper the tap beforehand. There were not enough milks for an arrival and departure hot drink. Apart from these points, we had a good stay and would return but not in that room.
GBEveryone was so friendly and welcoming. The food served in the restaurant was excellent and a great price. The room was comfortable and clean. Would love to stay again. Would highly recommend..

GBGreat location in the village, staff were fantastic and rooms were very good.
It would have been useful to have an option to eat breakfast as a family at the pub, and to have some shampoo and body wash in the bathroom.

GBGBThe location was central for where we were visiting.We were greeted when we arrived by Zoe who asked Alastair ,to help us with our luggage and showed us to our room. They asked us if we would like to book a table for tonight. The menu had plenty of choice, great food. Our room was comfortable and clean. The Red Lion team made our stay enjoyable,nothing too much trouble. It was like home from home,.We were greeted by the customers,who made us welcome.
