Abitta Condado by IHG

I had originally booked to stay at Abitta Condado at the beginning of June, but cancelled the reservation for separate reasons within the grace period for a full refund. Although no services were rendered by the hotel, I was still charged about 6 days after when my reservation would have taken place. The amount charged did not match the original reservation price, and was not authorized. The hotel gave me a refund for the unauthorized charge, and when I originally called I requested that they send me a confirmation that the refund was processed. It took multiple phone calls with the front desk manager to receive this, and the eventual document I was sent did not actually provide any details on the refund and was just a $0 balance sheet. Considering the issue was on the hotels side, there was a distinct lack of care or professionalism, and the manager consistently spoke over me to tell me to be patient for the refund to post , when I was calling regarding the confirmation on their end. I cannot speak to an actual stay at the location, but I would not recommend providing them your credit card information for fear of additional unauthorized charges by the hotel.

This hotel is right in the heart of Condado. The rooms are spacious and the beds are comfortable. The room had a coffee maker and a refrigerator. The pool area is small, but nice. It is surrounded by tall buildings, but the sun does shine in. The restaurant is open for breakfast, which is fine but ridiculously expensive. They are doing construction, but you cannot hear it.

Location and staff hospitality

Dusty. Room floor felt sticky and some humidity. Lobby was under remodelation but still very dusty.

I love the food in the restaurant. I love how the staff treated us. The place was great quiet and beautiful.

Me parece un excelente hotel, acogedor, un personal muy amable. Fue una muy buena experiencia, la habitación espectacular, muy cómoda, el aire en muy buen funcionamiento. Y se podía ver parte de la laguna desde la habitación. Agua caliente en la ducha y producto de higiene personal accesibles.

Solo el estacionamiento se puede mejorar. Pero un muy buen servicio de valet parking
