The room was good. The couple that runs the hostal are very welcoming

I was happy with everything, excellent value for money and kind hosts

Location was fantastic and entrance was on ground floor. Hot and cold water were instant from a machine

Neighbors dog barking. But it was not always, and nothing that the owners can do anything about.

Not included but the very gracious hosts spoiled me offering fresh fruits

The owners were very welcoming and also helped me find 3 tours at good prices. The room was spotless, with a bed big enough for 4 people!!!

You can hear traffic outside in the morning and people checking in / out as the reception are is located outside of the bedrooms under a tent.

We had several issues at this property that led us to leave part way through our stay. 1. The window in our room did not shut nor lock. This was a huge safety concern for us as travellers and the fact the Hostal was on a busy road. 2. The owner’s cat on the property. On the first night of our stay the cat started to “meow” at 4:30am and wouldn’t stop. It was constant and because our window was broken and couldn’t shut it was if the cat was “meowing” right beside us. One the second night it started meowing at 5am onwards. And the 3rd night it “meowed” from 1:30am onwards. The purpose of accommodation is to sleep and we could do anything but that. 3. Laundry machines - the Hostal ran the laundry machines right outside our room starting at 6am until at least 10pm. It woke us up and prevented us from sleeping. Again the window was broken and couldn’t shut to reduce any noise. 4. Cleanliness - the room was not clean. The sheets were thin and dirty with hairs and dirt. We found a 2 inch cockroach in the room. We asked the hosts to deal with it and they sent their son in with some bug spray. He sprayed it but tried to leave without removing the very much still alive cockroach from our room. The bathrooms were dirty and it just made for an unpleasant stay. On the listing it also stated daily housekeeping but that was not the case. We were not offered any housekeeping until the 3rd day.
