Easy check in process, nice staff and family that runs it! Has everything you need

We stayed 3 nights at El Paraiso Hostal and enjoyed our stay thoroughly. Our room was very clean, spacious, free drinking water was provided, our hostal hosts were always do friendly and helpful. The hostal is run by a very kind family, they were always smiling, and helped to keep our luggage on check out day when we went for a hike to Volcan Negra. We love their pet cat, Ana, she made the stay even more memorable. The location of the hostal is great - behind is the Flamingo lake, a few steps away to many restaurants and it is a easy walk to everywhere. We highly recommend El Paraiso histal as your base in Isabela island.

Very friendly staff (just fyi, they don't speak a lick of English here but are still great). Room perfectly fine for the price. Good location close to all downtown stuff.

There was some weird material seemingly falling from the ceiling and accumulating on our stuff. We would clean it up and it would be back again in a few hours. Not sure what it was.

Super friendly family, good wifi and nice location: in center but quiet

They are a wonderful family who run the hotel. It was very comfortable and great location in between the beach front road and the central market (for good, economical meals). The hotel is also right next to a pond where we spotted two flamingoes. Would absolutely stay here again!

I loved the location of this property. Very walkable. Friendly staff. My only complaint is that my a/c in room kept malfunctioning. It would get stuck at 64 F with fan on max or 80 F.

Perfect location to walk everywhere, beach nearby. Hosts were very accommodating even moved our room when they couldn’t get our hot water working.

Doesn’t have a beach view, but the price outweighs that amenity.
