My stuff was stolen out of my room as it was being cleaned.

It was a very good experience for me. I had to come home for a family funeral. I was treated in such a professional manner by the staff. I would like to really commend Ms. Felicia Jackson and Ms. Jamya Northam for being so warm, courteous and professional. I will definitely use the hotel again. Clif Jones Chevy Chase, MD

Exceptionally well. I was rushed checking in, I arrive late, and had to go straight into a meeting. Jackaualine was very inviting, helpful and patient. When I finally got to my room, I found it in order, clean and spacious. I will return here often.

Stay: May 7-9,2026 - 3 rooms I work for a major university and handle all of the travel for a large department of faculty and staff (200+). We spend tens of thousands of dollars annually on travel for our employees. This stay should have been routine and one of the easiest trips I've ever booked. Unfortunately, from the time my three colleagues arrived, it was less than adequate. While the rooms were ok, the check-in experience was less than stellar. One colleague had no problems, but the other two had issues - one of the reservations had been "lost", and they did not have a room reserved for my colleague. The other colleague did not have the credit card I had put on file for all three rooms attached to the reservation. These three colleagues were scheduled to conduct a workshop shortly after arriving at the hotel, so one colleague gave her credit card for her own room and as a hold until I could be contacted to resolve the issue. Unfortunately, they put the "missing" room in the cardholder's name rather than the guest's name. I was contacted and called the hotel, where they assured me that they would apply my credit card for room/tax/parking charges to all three rooms and would change the name on the room that was not in the guest's name. This NEVER happened. On checkout, my colleagues were assured that all was corrected and good to go, but when they received their receipts, they realized that one colleague had been charged for both rooms, and her name was on both receipts. This causes issues with reimbursements from the university, as state rules require receipts for reimbursement list the traveler's name on them. I called the hotel on 05/15 and spoke with a clerk, "Jocelyn" (who I was later told did not exist), who told me she would pass the issue on to the manager. She tried to transfer me to their voicemail, but apparently, the voicemail is still in the previous manager's name, so I have no idea if it was even received. I called again on 05/19 and spoke with "Sharon" (who informed me that no Jocelyn worked there) and said that "Jemiah", the manager, would call me back that day. Sharon was very hostile and unprofessional. I have previous experience managing a hotel, and I would never tolerate such an attitude towards a customer. It is now 05/21, and I still have not received a call from anyone. I spoke with Marriott Corporate and registered a complaint and requested a resolution. I will avoid booking my colleagues at any Marriott from now on (and I have been a longtime rewards member), but this stay has left a horrible impression of Marriott on me. I would stay clear of this hotel, as there seems to be no one in charge who can handle a simple billing issue, and the customer service is zero.

Everything about our stay was exceptional. From check-in to check-out, all staff were courteous and made us feel like we were the top priority. Joshua, the valet personnel, was exceptional. When we arrived, he unloaded the car and talked us through everything we needed to know. We had never been to Norfolk, and were there for my Old Dominion University graduation. He was very personable and a joy to meet! I can't express enough how great our trip was! I traveled with my eight-year-old son, mother, and stepfather.

There wasn't anything we didn't like!

They said they didn't do invoices , booking said to get the invoice from hotel hotel says get invoice from booking. Confusing. But not really a big deal I recommend it to anyone.

The staff was incredible and the room was beautiful. Breakfast was included and that was amazing also love The view.

The internet was disconnecting every 30 to 40 minutes to the point to where my wife and I just went on a walk at night. The shower was stopped up so it would fill up with water and when I went to use the handheld piece it just fell from the wall

They didn’t have soap in the bathroom, they didn’t have coffee and cups for the coffee maker, they didn’t clean ur room or replace bath towels
