Motel 6 San Marcos, TX - North

Nothing was unique about the property - actually is was very sketchy. There were burn holes in the blankets on both beds. No comforter on the bed, refrigerator didn't work, got locked out of my room because "their doors don't like the cold". Had to pour 4-5 bowls of hot water over the handle and locking mechanism to get back in my room. This is all going on while I'm locked out in the 28 degree weather. I will NEVER stay at this place again

I was woken by a roach crawling on my face. I understand about roaches. But to many for my liking.

No towels room smelled ugly very dirty no phone no iron sign says no smoking smelled really bad like cigarettes

The staff is really great. They did everything they could to make it a pleasant stay. The traffic on I-35 did not, though. We could hear the traffic ALL night long. I barely slept and my husband only slept some because he was completely exhausted. Of course, the kids slept just fine because they can sleep through a rock concert. You could hear neighbors driving in and out on their motorcycles really loudly. The motel was fine but we won't be staying there again due to the noise.

Worst place I have ever stayed, booked 2 nights and only stayed 1. Staff was friendly, not much they could do. Times are tough.

There were people thru out the night outside making noise and drinking beer. There was nobody there to restrict this from happening. The police showed up two times during our two night stay. The staff was very friendly but this place needs better management and control of activities outside of the rooms that people are trying to sleep.

I paid for the hotel room through the app was charged $69 on my card. To get to the hotel to be told my room was not paid for and I owed $56. So I have been charged by hotels.com and by the hotel for the same room. With no explanation on how to address the problem.
