Upon arrival, the activity in the parking lot was suspicious. Then, the room that was reserved (non-smoking) was not available. Window (poorly fit plexiglass) to room was held in with silicone and the room had a awful smell. I cancelled my reservation and went elsewhere. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place. Hope this saves someone the hassle i went through

I have stayed in many Motel 6 properties. This one had a "tired" feeling. The staff were very friendly and professional. The room was nice and big but there were several indications of things not being clean. Both bedside tables were sticky and there were no tissues. The towels were truly dingy and one I refused to touch it was so stained. The A/C worked great and the sheets seemed clean. The bed was comfortable and I felt safe. The shower was actually great. It was clean, had great water pressure and the water was good and hot. It's in a very populated area near Texas State University. It just needs a little updating, newer towels, paint on the door jambs (they were really rough).
