Excellent hotel all round , a little out of town , but cheap buses . Close to 3G bus stop run to airport. Breakfast brill

The Grata has a good price for an evening stay, but I was disappointed by the state of my room when I checked in. The bathroom was not clean upon check-in and the front desk staff was not very friendly. That said, the morning breakfast is quite delicious.

Firstly want to say that this review isn't just me moaning as I generally had a good stay at Grata Hotel. It's not in the centre but is only around a 15 minute walk so not too bad. I stayed in an attic room and was warm throughout, even though it was -20 and snowing while I was there. Just a few small comments from me. Firstly, I think it was the water pipes, but every time I or someone else above or below flushed the toilet or used a tap, there would be a really loud buzzing noise from the bathroom which actually woke me up in the middle of the night a few times. Secondly the shower was impossible to use - the bath tub was underneath the slanted attic ceiling which meant you couldn't actually stand up in the shower. No shower curtain either over the bath. And finally the service in the restaurant was disappointing. There isn't much around the hotel so I went in for food one of the evenings at 6:30pm to find it completely empty and no staff around...having popped my head around one of the doors I asked if they were open and they all just stared at me with a blank expression. Food was ok but my main was brought out before I had even finished my starter and the waitress took it away. Asked for a desert they said it would be a 30 minute wait. I was the only one in there! Beer was brought out as a can, not a draught pint. Really disappointing experience in that sense, but the general stay was good value for the price I paid.

Hotel was a little dated but very clean and beds were comfy. Worth upgrading to the superior room! Breakfast didn't meet up to being 'the best' as the hotel claims but put us on for the day, maybe it just wasn't to my tastes (hot dogs for sausages and overcooked potato balls). Had a couple of miscommunications about late checkout. Was told we could checkout at 2pm but no details taken, double checked again and was told 1pm and our room number was taken. Still received a call to the room at 12 on checkout day to say we hadn't checked out on time. It doesn't seem that staff talk much to each other, but other than this they were all polite. Would stay in central old town next time as walk each day was around 20/30 mins but overall hotel was very good and we had a great stay!

I really enjoyed my stay here at the Grata hotel, Whole experience a total pleasure... rooms were big ,very clean, comfortable beds, Buffet breakfast was delicious, different kind of varieties each day! The sauna facilities were open till late, especially during Christmas period! The Grata Hotel staff were all amazing,great hospitality,kind and friendly! Offering a lovely environment throughout.. A Very Big Thank You to all the staff, Especially the lovely ladies at reception, Pozena, Ingrida, Egle who made my stay feel very welcome! Keep up the good work!! Happy New Year 2018!!

Staff was very helpful and provid great customer service. Eager to solve the issues at the spot. Feel quite comfortable except beds need to change for comfortable sleep at night. Rest everything was great.

Grata Hotel was really nice with a bar and restaurant. Everywhere was clean and tidy, staff were helpful and found it to be very quiet. Got a taxi to the hotel from the airport which was €9, and got the express bus route 3G back on the return trip from a nearby stop which took approx.10-15 minutes and cost €1. The old town or city centre were a 15- 20 min walk which was fine going there as mainly downhill, but hard work on the way back especially in the snow !! Breakfast was included and was a really good self service option. Overall I would go back there myself, and would certainly recommend it if you do not mind the walking.

Booked 2 double rooms, one excellent, .. but the other; looked to be a single with a double bed, bathtap useless, shower head blocked with limescale, minibar fridge rattled and had to be turned off, broken desk drawer handle, broken french balcony door handle, cobwebs hanging from ceiling corner, poor bed bottom sheets on marked mattress. However, excellent wifi, easy check-in and pleasant staff, a very good breakfast and with plenty of street parking available for a few euro. Given the price acceptable, just better housekeeping needed.

Nice clean . Food was very good . 15 min walk to centre not to bad as its a flat country. Tv good size ,internet very good, Overall for the price this place is hard to beat.

Lovely hotel and friendly and helpful staff. Average neighbourhood but safe and with a very useful, large 24 hour store five minutes' walk away. 20 minutes walk from old town or 5 mins walk to local bus into town and to the bus and train stations.
