Convenient location with walking distance to our event and restaurants

Really enjoyed our stay. The hotel is fresh and clean. The staff is amazing! They never seemed bothered by any request and were so quick. There’s water stations and ice on every floor and free guest laundry machines. We came here for a marathon and the did everything to make the experience a great one. From hand written notes wishing us well for the run to the restaurant special being curated for runners, it was a great experience. We will definitely be back.

Our trip to Monterey didn’t go as planned — my husband’s back went out lifting a suitcase at the start of our vacation, and he ended up bedridden for most of our stay. What could have been a very stressful and disappointing experience turned out to be manageable and even heartwarming, thanks to the incredible staff at the Monterey Marriott. They provided everything we needed — a shower chair, extra pillows, and a wheelchair — and went out of their way to make us comfortable. To our surprise, they even sent a thoughtful “get well” cheese and fruit plate with a bottle of sparkling cider. The entire staff showed genuine kindness and care throughout our stay. Special thanks to Kelsey, Emily, and the entire front desk team for their compassion, flexibility, and professionalism. They ensured we could extend our stay and remain in the same room, which made a difficult week so much easier. The hotel’s location was also perfect — within walking distance of everything we needed, including Walgreens, great restaurants, and the wharf. While this wasn’t the dream California vacation we had planned, the warmth and generosity of the Monterey Marriott team made all the difference. We are deeply grateful and won’t forget their kindness.

Yes, I had a beautiful partial view of the ocean. I did not use the internet because it was an additional charge.

La piscine était fermée mais aucune info n'a été donnée en amont et le prix était le même. J'ai reservé ici exprès pour la piscine c'est décevant ! Parking trop cher.
