We recently stayed for four nights, combining business and a bit of fun, and had a wonderful experience. Upon check-in, Joshua Sanchez recognized that we had two separate reservations and went above and beyond to coordinate our stay so that we could remain in the same room the entire time. His attention to detail set the tone for a great visit. The room itself was excellent - a great view, comfortable, clean, and well-appointed. We were also pleasantly surprised with a thoughtful snack plate and a bottle of wine (thank you, Joshua!) during our stay, which made us feel truly valued as guests. This hotel’s location is outstanding. It’s right next to the conference center, making it perfect for business travelers, and also within easy walking distance to many restaurants and Cannery Row. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely choose this hotel again.

Wow! What a fantastic hotel with great staff and a great friendly feel. The hotel was absolutely spotless and the room was beautiful. The bar was fab and catered for everyone’s needs and tastes. The valet was fantastic but at $35 a night. Would I stay again? Definitely, yes! One night stop over and wished it was more.

Simply wonderful. The room was modern and clean. The staff were very friendly. Anytime I needed something brought up, they quickly came within minutes. I honestly had no complaints. We had a city view room, and it was beautiful. We could see the fog come in from a distance and the sunshine peer through by mid-day. For breakfast, you could order from a menu or enjoy the widespread buffet which had a lot of hot food options including a made-to-order omelette and pancake/waffle bar, congee, bacon/sausage, etc, etc.

The exterior awnings could use some cleaning up, but I can't fault them for pigeons/seagulls. It's a coastal town after all. On-site valet parking was pricey (~45/night), so we found a garage just a 2 minute walk away that was significantly cheaper ($12-15/night).

The Hotel itself is very nice and the staff are very good too. However we booked a King at least 3 months ago for the Labor Day weekend arriving Friday and stay 3 nights. When we arrived they said they had miscounted and they no longer had King rooms available. In this day of computer bookings, where you select your room, they knew perfectly well how many King rooms had been booked. This is very underhand tactics to get people in the 2 queen rooms. I would pass on Hotels that do not have Kings available. This is a disgusting way to treat their customers. They did give free breakfast, points etc. but they are only useful if you stay with them in the next year. I would have gladly not have had any of these for the King I booked.
