"surprises you with $75 fee"

the hotel springs a $75 cash damage deposit on you upon check-in no matter how you are paying (cash or credit) and is not mentioned when making your reservation. however it is conveniently located to everything i needed. the clerk was efficient and friendly. bring your own coffee pot, the one provided is odd and only takes a special single cup pod.

Not the quietist location and a real pain to get on the highway but the rooms are clean. They had discontinued the breakfast while we were there due to Covid but most of the surrounding properties still served breakfast.

The room was fine but could’ve been cleaned better. My main complaint is that they require a $40 CASH ONLY deposit when you arrive. And like many others I don’t carry cash most the time. They do not have an ATM on site so you have to walk/drive to the nearest gas station to get cash. The old man working that night was a bit rude and short with me and it took a while to check in but the woman who checked me out in the morning was very friendly and fast.

Was asked for a $150 CASH deposit for a room that was already paid for. Was told the deposit would then be returned via check at a later date. After showing the clerk the terms and conditions on the traveloctiy confirmation the deposit was knocked down to $50 cash. Was told the policy had recently changed when I asked what was going on. Very unprofessional.
