It is a place which can not be compared with most of the places where a person could stay. The criteria for the ratings really cannot apply for this place, because there is totally different atmosphere. Laura is amazing host, cook and storyteller. You could switch off totally and connect with nature without too much destruction from internet and usual life.

The dinners and breakfast were amazing and the surroundings and farm itself were so beautiful.

Very nice and friendly people, kind of garden eden. A lot of cats and two friendly dogs. Big and tasty breakfast. Outstanding marmelades. Would go there again.

It was a very quiet area with a large terrace and many smaller tables and chairs outside. You could also use a big dining hall inside which was shared with the family. The hosts were really friendly and gave us many good tips of where to go. It is a very peaceful and quite cool place in hot Sicily.

If you do not include the meals, it is complicated to prepare the breakfast on your own. The host did kindly lend us coffee cups, plates and a kettle, but we did not want to bother them too much, so sometimes we had to be resourceful. There are really many cats around, which is good news for cat lovers, but those who are allergic or do not like cats can basically not stay outside.
