Quite and in nature. It was great to stay close to the nature reserve and mt. Etna.

The roads to get to the location were difficult to drive therefore distances to different sites are much longer than described on maps or goggle as the roads are very narrow. The outside areas are a bit worn down.

I personally liked that it was remote and secluded and very quiet. It was also very tidy and clean. The option to have meals there was nice given its distance from stores and restaurants.

Maybe too quiet and remote for teens. Would have also liked an option for a smaller less costly portion of dinner. But it was made up for with breakfast in spades. My daughter loved the breakfast!

the location is very beautiful and there is a good breakfast at extra cost. the room was nice and good shower.

the lady of the house doesn;t bother with the niceties but that is compensated by the man of the house who is chatty .

It was quiet and home made food was delicious. FYI: Like mostly in Italy Dinner is served quite late, at 8pm earliest.

If you are expecting the amenities of a hotel this is not the place for you. If you can appreciate rustic simplicity and natural surroundings this is the place to disconnect from the chaos of life and appreciate nature and simple pleasures. Walk amongst fruit trees, sit and enjoy a glass of Sicilian wine listening to the birds and marvel that this place has survived the whims of Etna. One of the best parts of our stay was the on- site dinners prepared by the very capable Signora Laura and conversations with both Laura and Giuseppe. Dinners were very abundant in both portions and variety, prepared with products grown on the property. The room was spacious with a very comfortable bed and bathroom with shower. Definitely would return.

Clean, big room, with a lot of places to put your 'stuff'. The rooms are not specifically modern, but this is also a charm if you ask me and all was working prefectly well. Even if they are practically in a forest, not one insect found in the room during our 2 night stay. Breakfast and dinner was well arranged and Laura was good host, making sure you had all you need.

The Wifi was working well in the restaurant, but less in the room itself.

The Hosts are very nice to have around they make you feel at home . It is surrounded by a forest which you can go for a walk in . Very delicious food especially the capunata .very good value for money.

You should have your lunch and/or dinner here. I cant forget the dinner we had there, all three courses (entree, secondi poatti and dolci) and wish we had more days to stay there. Reasonable pricing and delicious traditional homemade italian food. Lovely hosts that give you guidance as to where to go, and with whom you can have great conversation during dinner. Loved the ambience there, complete peace. I assume the atmosphere there at winter time must be mesmerizing, definitely want to go back.
