Windsor Guest House

The staff were very good, the room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent. The coffee machine was good, we bought milk which we kept in the fridge provided for the coffee as powdered milk spoils the taste of good coffee.

Being an older house the room was smaller than other hotel rooms we stayed in and there was so noise from other residents.

Room cleanness, convenient location, breakfast and overall good service and pleasant stay at the guesthouse.

More flexible check in time.

A shared bathroom.

The neighbourhood was stunning. The bed was comfortable and there was plenty of hot water in the shower. The room was characterful with a stone wall. Breakfast looked good but didn't start until 7.30 and I had to leave.

When the manager had left I realised there was no blind at the window only a curtain that could be seen through and my window faced the street. The only after hours number I could find went to an automated system. I left a message as the auto system said no one was answering. It's 4 days later and I still have not heard anything from the property. Luckily it wasn't an emergency. I hooked the spare blanket over the curtain rail for privacy. Windsor Guest House you need to do better.

Incredible location - felt very quiet and peaceful, but only a couple minute walk to Cambie/Broadway station. For that reason alone I would highly recommend staying here (we stayed for the Vancouver marathon - great location for this purpose!). The room itself was small but sufficient. We arrived early and were able to check in early, staff were very friendly and welcoming.

Wifi did not work for almost the entire time we were there. The dishwasher and stovetop were broken.

Great breakfast; Close to Canada Line to get to downtown and other tourists spots; Clean spacious room in a safe neighborhood; communication from host by email/messaging was good and responsive

Price (but all accommodations in Vancouver is higher) but definitely lower than downtown; no USB ports (but ample electrical outlets); no AC but weather did not require AC and room did have a fan).

Lovely clean guest house in an ideal location close to the metro and shops! Could even see the mountains! Absolutely perfect for what we needed. The shared bathroom was spotlessly clean and the bedroom was very well maintained. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty and staff on both days were friendly and kept everything topped up.

Guesr House was 5 mins walk from Broadway/City Hall skytrain stn. Nice leafy location. Staff were helpful and friendly. Great instructions to access house. French toast was tasty
