Hyatt Place Fort Wayne - Northwest

The location was perfect for our needs.

Although the staff was very friendly, it would’ve been nice to be told about the facility and everything it offered versus wandering around to find the pool and other amenities.

Disappointed in the Lobby, Halls and Elevator cleanliness but then noticed the upper floor is going through renovations. I will try the hotel again after renovations are complete!

See my previous answer. Plus at the check in desk I had to still give a credit card for (I'm still not sure why) as my room was already prepaid with that same credit card!

room = was clean, but the sink was not working properly. breakfast = food was ok, oatmeal was good, but raisins were old, not fresh bed = mattress was "old" not comfortable. I couln not sleep well

inside of the building outdated - elevators were trashy as well as the hallways, not a good experience for $144 per night

Close to volleyball camp

Change rooms 2 times. First time room smelled horrid of wet pets. I’m allergic. 2nd room was hair all in the bathroom and the refrigerator was completely filthy!!

Breakfast was good and the water got hot.

The staff member at the front desk when we checked in didn’t seem to want to be there. We weren’t told that they were doing reconstruction on the floor above of us prior to checking in. We found out from a sign posted in the elevator. The elevator was old and made a lot of noise. Once we got to our floor, there was a really bad stench and carpet was absolutely filthy. When we entered into our room there was a stench as well. The bed didn’t seem stable and it wasn’t comfortable. Construction was going on right above our room. They started working at 8am in the dot on a Saturday morning.

Very, very disappointed in TV reception. When l mentioned to desk manager, she said everyone complained.

Breakfast was good

No parking so we had to go across the street to “overflow parking” which appeared to be parking for another business. Minimal room amenities.

I was very disappointed. For the price per night and other comments I read I was looking forward to the stay. However, when we arrive 4th and 5th floor were under renovations. Entire motel was very muggy. Hallways on floors looked lower end and smelled musty. Rooms were small! Bathrooms tiny! Staff was not front desk material. Very uneducated on hotel practices and gave us a key card that we couldn’t get into the room with. Very unimpressed we canceled our stay a night early because we didn’t want to stay. Beds extremely uncomfortable!
