The mall near by.

Room was dirty. No fridge in the room. Heavy dust. Sink in bathroom wouldn’t drain. When I called about to see if I could get early check in they couldn’t find my reservation at all.

"Vegan Cookies Now at DoubleTree!"

Tonight when I checked in at the DoubleTree, I noticed a little sign saying they now offer vegan cookies at check-in. As a vegan, I got very excited. Normally when I stay at DoubleTree, I have to sadly decline the famous cookie they offer at check-in, so this felt like a big moment! Unfortunately, Melissa at the front desk let me know they had run out of the vegan cookies. I was pretty disappointed, but she said, “Let me see what I can do—I’ll call you if I can find some in the restaurant.” A few minutes after I got to my room, my phone rang. Melissa had tracked down the cookies! 🍪 It was such a small thing, but it meant a lot that she took the time to go above and beyond instead of just leaving it at “we’re out.” Thank you, Melissa, for the excellent service and for making sure this vegan guest didn’t miss out on the DoubleTree cookie experience!
