The Saltair Inn was the perfect warm and inviting place for a relaxing winter's stay away from the chaos of normal life. It is clear that Matt & Kristi's love and care have kept the Inn in pristine condition. I can highly recommend staying here

This was a wonderful bed-and-breakfast. Plenty of free parking and a stunning waterfront view from our room. Kristi and Matt were amazing hosts and our breakfasts were delicious each morning. They were super friendly and helpful. Very easy to walk to all of the neighborhood restaurants and shopping. A quick 5 to 10 minute drive up Cadillac Mountian for a stunning view. We would love to return when we have time for a longer visit and would most definitely stay here again.

"Late fall 3 night stay"

We had the best stay at Salt Air Inn. Matt and Christy were welcoming and helpful. Christy is an outstanding chef.Her breakfasts were scrumptious! The Inn is homey ,warm, and beautiful. The afternoon treats were delicious with tea or coffee daily. The only bad thing is.... I won't be there for breakfast tomorrow 😕. And I heard it's her waffles! Of course , they will make you eggs of your choice if you don't wish to have her special. Cannot wait to return.

"First Stay, but Not the Last"

We had a wonderful stay at the Saltair Inn, an elegant yet comfortable “cottage” from Bar Harbor’s Golden Age. Owners and Innkeepers Matt and Kristi made you feel like visiting friends. They are very knowledgeable about the area, its history, and the highlights to be seen. Breakfast was fantastic. The set up in the dining room provided the opportunity to socialize with fellow guests, and we enjoyed our conversations with people from different parts of the country. The macaroons and cookies put out in the afternoon were always tasty. Incredible waterfront location. Will definitely return.

"Great historic property"

My wife and I stayed for two nights on our anniversary trip to Maine. This old historic property is cozy and welcoming. We were in the cottage room…..rather small but comfortable with a nice roomy private bathroom. Breakfast was great and the Innkeepers/owners could not be more friendly and charming. A great experience all around.
