It was a very pleasant & peaceful stay. Will return again.

Clean room

The room door blocked zero noise from the hallway. You could see light between the door and jam.

The property is a nice location in a quiet town in Lancaster county, with a diner next door, and a shopping center across the street that has a wonderful chinese buffet. Currently as of writing this, the hotel is currently going through renovations on the entrance, but it is not a major issue

The water in the shower and bathtub did not drain properly, and there was mold on the shower curtain, which was very unsanitary. However, the staff and other services were relatively good.

Property was convenient for shopping. I would have liked USB ports in the room for charging things.

Construction

There was something sticky on the tv stand and looked like ketchup running down the wall by the table. Everything else looked clean to me but could use a coat of paint on the walls to cover up all the marks. There was construction outside, but i'm sure that was something that need to be done and was acceptable.

The ratings for this hotel were good so I expected a lot more. The best description for it is "tired." Not all of the lights in the hall were working and the parking lot was not well lit. It didn't help that the main door to the lobby was closed off due to construction and when I arrived in the dark the way to enter the building was not obvious. The worst part of my stay was the overpowering smell of mildew in the room. While the room was reasonably clean it had a lot of wear and tear, definitely in need of a facelift!

Pretty much everything except the staff was friendly and helpful.
