The Milestone Inn

Checked in and place seemed clean and Frank at the front desk was very pleasant and accommodating. However, there are long term guests that stay here and they seem to treat the inn like their home - which made it a little weird for my husband and I and we wound up not staying the night - forfeited the room rate and checked into a nice chain hotel instead. This place is a motel that has been renovated, nicely renovated, but still a motel. Room was said to be non smoking but it did smell like it had been smoked in. Would probably be good if you are traveling for business but I would not plan a romantic getaway here.

I think this place used to be a dumpy old motel. Well, it got a major facelift, makeover, upgrade. The room is spacious and clean...not dank or dark. The internet was not great and the shower so-so, but it was definitely above expectations for a motel!

Stayed here for 2 nights on business and it was surprisingly nice! Completely renovated and clean, the bed was fantastic......a perfect night's sleep. Keurig coffee maker in the room as well as a fridge and microwave made it the right choice. Note there is no pool so this place is quiet and restful, thank goodness!!. Will return.

I stayed a night at the Milestone while taking a road trip with a friend. The room was clean and very comfortable. We were delighted the room had a mini fridge and microwave. The Inn manager (Frank) was incredibly accommodating and helpful. I highly recommend this place.

On the road to Maine for the 4th, short notice trip... Booked online night prior. After long day on the road, I found it. Beautiful town of Woodbury, very hippyish, and historic. Small hotel, very clean with nice TV. A walk of the grounds is relaxing. Could use more places to sit out. The tiki torches were with out fluid. Also call to make your reservation. I booked online and there was no reservation here. I even received an email confirming. The one staff member here, said "the owner doesn't seem to care whether the online reservation works", luckily they had a room. But aside from that lack of attention to detail. All is good.
