Horseshoe Curve Lodge

Well the room was ok. But the carpet was dirty. The bathtub was very sliprey when I took a shower.They didnt have breakfast in the morning. There was a lot of place's to eat all around the area. We do like the area out there and it was a very good location.

Clean and comfortable. TV was a bit fuzzy.

Staff was friendly. Hotel is under renovations and it appears that they are attempting to bring life back to it. Didn’t mind the location. Room was outdated, but with renovations and upgrades I think it’ll be a convenient, reasonable place to stay.

They are doing everything possible to clean it up because it used to be a dive. I’m from this area and I hesitated to stay, but it was the right price. I want to stay one more night, but the one clerk is being unreasonable. I asked to have the owner call me and she won’t do it. She is sticking to the rules, but she doesn’t know when them rules are made to break or bend. I’m not asking to break. I asked to stay one more hour and she said NO!

The man at the desk last night when I checked in said you don’t get coffee until 8 AM which I was surprised because what if you’re coming here and you have to get out of here and go to your meeting by eight and then I go at 8:02 this morning and find out that it could’ve been ready at seven as when he works he does it at seven but the man last night said no. Then the man this morning asked the lady in charge if I could stay one more hour and she said no they need to clean the room, but I want to stay another day so they don’t have to clean the room. Yes they are booked, but I said there could be a cancellation. I’m asking for a little bit of help and they will not have the owner call me as they have to ask him who lives in Harrisburg for every move they make. They don’t know how to make decisions. They don’t know how to allow me to have one more hour due to a doctors appointment and other needs that I have. They are unreasonable no that Leidy Miranda is unreasonable. I wanna move to Oklahoma and she’s from Oklahoma, but that even soften her word.

Room was priced right. Some upgrades had been made in room. Bathroom was still outdated. TV had poor quality image. Bed was comfortable and AC worked great. Centrally located if you are going to Horseshoe curve or the Railroad yard/Museum in Altoona.
