Great staff.

Proximity to event we were attending and close enough to walk to place and not have to worry about paying to park.

We were required to pay for parking. We were told it was $35. However you have to do it through an online service that's charged extra fees increasing that to over $40. Disclosure about parking never stated that it wasn't a flat $35. Common areas like hallways and elevators were not cooled which caused it to be very warm within the hotel if not in your room.

Across the street from Vanderbilt, very convenient.

Highly overpriced. Its essentially a glorified Hilton-family motel, with decades-old carpet, popcorn ceiling, mediocre breakfast, squeaky beds, a dead stinkbug on the carpet. No restaurant onsite or within walking distance. We paid more than $400 a night, two nights with taxes was over $900. Nashville is overall extremely expensive, I guess they dont have a ton of hotels so the price gouge especially during graduation. Other than graduation and for attending country music events (not for me), theres really not a whole lot of reasons to visit that city. On top of those prices, they charge extra for parking ($35/night). I dont expect to go back anytime soon if ever.

Strong Oder in the room was terrible at first. Whatever cleaning supplies were used is overkill. Rates were inflated for a busy weekend, but it was expected. Soap bottle in shower was empty, good thing we brought our own. I don’t like that the parking situation is third party managed and that the staff just simply point at sign leaving you figure it out.

Plenty of choice for the breakfast. The place is convenient for Nashville.

It is pretty nonsense that the parking has to be paid, especially $40 (including the taxes) per night. It is ridiculously pricey especially when the night at the hotel is already expensive. Other than that, my bed sheets had many stains. The soundproofing was very bad, we felt like we were in the same room than our neighbors.

Location! Also, Tammy the breakfast supervisor, is wonderful! Very friendly and kept everything stocked up before anyone had to ask!!! Coffee included!

This hotel gets two stars and that is only on account of the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff (everyone was lovely during a very busy weekend) and its convenient location for Vanderbilt University. The accommodations otherwise would get zero. My hotel room on the 7th floor did not have a phone, a clock, an iron or a hair dryer. It had towels and bedding (of questionable cleanliness) and was otherwise dirty and looked like it had been forgotten in time. I had to put towels on the sofa before I could sit on it or put any of my belongings on the furniture. When I walked in, the desk/table had remnants of chapstick or some other sticky substance all over it. It definitely had not been cleaned between guests. I used my own antibacterial wipes to clean it and every other surface in the room. The bathroom had water damage surrounding the shower and the ceiling and also looked like it hadn't seen a cleanser in quite some time. But all of that would have been forgivable had the room come with a blackout shade on the window. Instead, the room only had a roller shade for privacy and I woke up with the sun on each morning of my stay. It was graduation weekend and the hotel was at capacity as was the staff, who all tried their best. Unfortunately, the crowded hotel meant that waiting for help at the front desk took forever. When the hotel was busy, waiting for the elevators could also take as long as 10 minutes, which was not okay. The crowds that would gather during that time meant that sometimes you would have to wait for another empty elevator so up to 15-20 minutes. In general, this property clearly lacks oversight and is in desperate need of either a full room renovation or at least some basic updates. Even the lobby furniture is gross. Our family members staying on the 3rd floor had similar issues (not a single working phone) and found bugs in their rooms. This is the third Hampton Inn I have stayed at in the last 3 weeks and was by far the worst. I am a Hilton Diamond member and paid $872 for two nights at this hotel. I would never stay here again (for convenience stay at the Holiday Inn across the street!) What a mess, Hilton. Do better.
