The room was fairly clean.

This was a non-refundable booking. In my opinion, the reason that this is a non-refundable booking is because the Econo Lodge in Barstow utilizes so much false advertising with their bookings.  I was given what was obviously a smoking room when I specifically booked a non-smoking room. Not only was there the a strong cigarette smell throughout the room but what appeared to be cigarette burns on the furniture.  There were big holes in the wall where the toilet paper holder was supposed to be. The shower resembled an abandoned property as it had peeling paint in many areas. The room had cracked and open caulking throughout. I checked in around 2:00 a.m. and I was too tired to return to the office and do their job of inspecting multiple rooms in order to magically find what I booked and paid for. i.e.-a room that was truly non-smoking and fully intact and presentable. So I just went ahead and slept for a few hours. When I got up in the morning for the free breakfast and to use the swimming pool, it turns out that they weren't offering these and other amenities such as a working TV in the room as stated on booking.com when I booked the room.  The receptionist didn't mention any of these shortcomings when I checked in.  Because of all of this, the room should have easily been about half the price I paid for it. As well, the room and amenities should have been honestly marketed and represented to me rather than lying to me and other customers about what you are actually paying for. Enough said. I will obviously never be returning to the Econo Lodge in Barstow.

Peu confortable, plus de 35°C en entrant sans la chambre, clim très bruyante et inefficace. Portes dégradées (un trou de 5 cm dans la porte de zalle de bain, vestige d'un coup de poing ou coup de pied). L'hôtel n'est pas entretenu. Pas de petit déjeuner alors que prévu lors de la réservation. Passez votre chemin, vous trouverez surement mieux, il y a des dizaines d'hôtels à proximité.

Terrible… just terrible. But that’s my fault… I look for the cheapest motel in Barstow and this was it. You get what you pay for.

it was a very clean,large room.the bed was good and it is quiet.Had a good night sleep and the manager is very friendly.

The whole week that I stayed here not one time did they ever clean my room, the continental breakfast, is just cereal. Unlike the pictures there’s no sausage or eggs. The carpet was dirty. Makes sure to wear sandals.

Room smelled of damp bath had crack and you felt that it could fall apart air conditioning was ineffective decore was crumbling
