The test with older hotels is the smell when entering your room. I was very pleased to say that the room smelled fresh, and FREE from all smells of mold, musty, smoke or heavy detergents! Thank you! It was very comfortable!

"Room was comfortable but too high priced"

8.0

great location staff were very friendly and helpful.

a/c wasn't the best and looks like their pool has been closed for repairs for several years. The rooms were ridiculously high priced all over the whitefish/kalispell area although I stayed 3 nights and the parking lot wasnt even half full. Just because its summer hotels shouldn't gouge travelers. I ended up moving away from town to get more reasonable rates.

Alice was a lovely employee. I also appreciated how the breakfast area was kept completely stocked and cleaned. The tall skinny gal kept it looking amazing. You have a great workers there.

"Basic amenities at a high price."

8.0

The room was ok, fairly large room, comfortable bed. It is a little dated and could use some renovation. The price was too high for what you got. It's a touristy area, so they can charge whatever they want. It felt like 5 star pricing for a 3 star hotel. No housekeeping service unless you request it. Breakfast included, it was ok, nothing special, the usual hotel breakfast food. They had a problem they couldn't get worked out where our keys would quit working every day, so we had to go to the front desk every time we came back in the evenings to get new keys. We had to wait 20 minutes for new keys one night because there was a line of people checking in. Hotel is in a good location for sightseeing in the area. Parking was good, you can park right next to your door. Area felt safe.

vor 1 Stunde Neu As a foreign visitor to the U.S., I’ve traveled and stayed in a wide range of hotels — but nothing prepared me for the level of disrespect, hostility, and outright bias I experienced at this property. I arrived very early, fully aware that I might need to wait for check-in. I wasn’t asking for anything special — just to be acknowledged and treated with basic respect. What I didn’t expect was to be treated like an unwelcome intruder. The woman at the front desk looked at me with immediate hostility — not even a basic greeting. Her tone was cold, her body language was aggressive, and her overall attitude made it crystal clear that I am not welcome. The worst part? While I was still standing there, she exchanged smug, condescending looks with nearby guests who appeared to be locals, then laughed in my direction while chatting with them. Moments later, her demeanor flipped — all smiles and friendliness — when those same guests asked for something. The contrast was shocking. It wasn’t subtle. It felt racist. This was someone who clearly should not be working in hospitality. Hospitality requires empathy, professionalism, and the ability to treat all guests with dignity — regardless of where they come from. This front desk agent failed on every level. Her behavior was not only inappropriate, it was toxic. Whether rooted in ignorance, local small-mindedness, or something more malicious, the way I was treated as a foreigner was unacceptable. No guest — especially someone traveling from abroad — should be made to feel belittled, excluded, or humiliated like this. When I asked for a receipt, I was brushed off with a cold, “It’s just an authorization, not a charge,” with zero explanation and maximum attitude. I’m familiar with hotel policies — I wasn’t confused. I was being talked down to, intentionally. The room was yet another disappointment: overpriced, unclean, and far below any reasonable standard for the price. For what I paid, the quality was unacceptable. This hotel fails on every level — customer service, hospitality, and basic human decency. If you are an international traveler or visiting the U.S. from abroad, I strongly urge you to avoid this place. The treatment I received suggests a biased and unwelcoming attitude toward foreign guests. They clearly do not value or respect all visitors equally. It’s simply not worth your time, money, or peace of mind.

"The most uncomfortable and loud hotel ever"

2.0

So expensive and so loud! Got zero sleep. We stayed in really bad motels on our trip and this hotel cost 4x more and was the worst. Beds are old and terrible and you can hear the water pipes so loud from surrounding rooms. The other hotels were around the same price, so just stay somewhere else if you want to sleep.

Beds were collapsed and it was so loud all jiggt
