Baymont by Wyndham Whitefish

Property needed updating badly.

Friendly staff. Comfortable beds with decent pillows. Much better than expected free breakfast. Once every 3 days service policy is crap at almost $300/night and not even doing it was horrible. With a 4 night stay it seemed too convenient for them to skip the service after the 3rd night. At the least there should be trash emptied and bathrooms cleaned every day or every other day. Setting a 3 days cycle and not following through is unforgiveable.

Needs help. Landscaping would help a lot.

Outside is ugly. No ice.

Pool and hot tub were not functional and one morning waffle batter was empty. No ice bucket in room. Requested 1 bed got 2.

Decent hotel

This was an expensive hotel, but probably only because it was in an expensive town. The room was very clean and the shower was great. (Anything would have been since we had been horseback riding for hours in the hot sun.) The beds were super comfortable. Only reason not a perfect score was because we had to haul our luggage up a flight of stairs. We’re both late 70s and were already exhausted by the time we got to the hotel. Someone to help with the luggage or an elevator and this would have rated “excellent.”

Room was clean and large. At breakfast there was no milk. The lady said she ran out and we were there to eat around 7am

Great location for us. We had no complaints. The pool/hot tub weren’t in use, but we weren’t going to use those anyway. We didn’t eat the breakfast, but it looked as if they had plenty of choices for a hotel breakfast. The front desk loaned us a bear spray so we didn’t have to purchase one (we were flying so we couldn’t bring with us) so that was very helpful! The bed and pillows were comfortable. We would stay here again for future visits.
