The Good House

We stayed 2 nights at The Good House, the first night on the main property and the 2nd night at their villa. It was a wonderful experience. The staff are incredibly warm and inviting. They added to the so much to the already wonderful stay. The whole property just invites a relaxing atmosphere - from the mineral pool to the various sitting areas throughout. We had a small issue with the room (nothing to the fault of the owner) and they rectified it immediately. It truly shows they want their guests to have the best experience. The breakfast and coffee were delicious and started the day off right. Now, the villa. Its a whole other property next door to the main house, with its own mineral pool and hot tub. The design is beautifully done. Loved the airbnb type private experience while still having the luxuries of the hotel (food, drink and housekeeping). We cannot wait to book the villa next time with friends. Only regret is not booking a spa service. Next time!

The staff was incredibly friendly. We felt the warm welcome the minute we came in. The room was very clean. The bath towels were very soft and fluffy (Unlike most hotel rough/cheap towers). The thermal pools are rejuvenating. This location is located away from the hustle and bustle. A Serene property with cozy and private feel. I will be returning soon.

This is my third stay at the good house and every time has been wonderful. Van and Grace took amazing care of us this time. The water is so relaxing and well maintained. There are only 7 rooms so it’s very small and private. It’s like staying at home because the staff is so kind.

Amazing place! 100% recommend. Stayed for 3 nights. Feels like a garden oasis in the desert. The main pool is the perfect temperature to lounge in for hours (94 degrees), and was also ideal for my wife who is pregnant (not too hot). Food and service were also fantastic. We will be back :)

Relaxing and chill vibe. We enjoyed stepping out bro Joshua Tree and area to sightsee during day and relax upon return. I would recommend to bring back a dinner to enjoy in evening since the spas are hard to leave after a day out. Breakfast options at GH are great way to start the day. Bring some snacks to enjoy and indulge.

The Good House has been a real treat for us. Wonderful that they welcome Molly (our 4 legged friend). We have enjoyed the welcoming staff, food has been excellent and the grounds, spa’s top everything off. You have to try the dates with your coffee in the morning!

We had such a wonderful time at The Good House. It’s the perfect blend of boutique hotel, Airbnb and spa. The premises are well-maintained and the geothermal pools were so comfy even this time of year. Van and the rest of the team are so kind! Plus, Van makes a killer breakfast. My partner and I each had massage treatments that were high up on the lists of massages in our lives! I’d love to come again when the weather is a bit better and take advantage of all the lounge chairs around the property. Even still, having access to pools and fire pit 24/7 meant we didn’t have to plan our day around relaxing (not that that would have been bad!) The only tiniest things I’d say is if you were planning to stay for a while, storage in the rooms is low in keeping with the sleek, minimalist design. Also, the coffee was on the weak side. Those critiques aside, I still give The Good House a glowing ***** review!

The room was clean and comfortable with a fully functional ear-in kitchen as a separate room. We also had our own patio with a hammock. The staff was super friendly and attentive and the pools and fire pit and the rest of the grounds provided a perfect variety of serene options.

I love this spa. Vance is an excellent host and he took care of us well. He’s an awesome person and looks after us. We stayed for a full day. They have hot and warm natural hot springs. The rooms are very nice and comfortable as well. I highly recommend this place and I will come back soon

The hospitality here was wonderful!!! I had Yessica, and she was amazing with the massage and facial. And, Van is super sweet and greets customers sincerely. And the resort’s swimming pool was clean and clear. The staff and the high quality maintenance are 5/5!
