The Good House

Amazing and magical place. Came to PS for business and ended up staying here for one night. Fantastic owners/cause. Charming rooms. Beautiful grounds, locals and staff SO friendly and helpful. Beautiful hot paint pools. I’m coming back with my husband for sure!!

We stayed just one night at The Good House on our way to a Friendsgiving weekend in Palm Springs. If only we'd had more days, but our short time here was absolutely perfect: peaceful, relaxing, dog-friendly and with such a welcoming vibe! We got in later than expected, but the self check-in was seamless. It was such a relief to reach our cozy room after a long drive. The next day we got up to try out the hot springs and enjoy a relaxing morning before we had to depart. The hot springs are amazing--I tried both pools and couldn't decide which I liked best. I also appreciated how secluded and peaceful the grounds were. There were many comfortable seating areas to choose from. And the breakfast was top notch! Huge shoutout to Van for being so welcoming and for making the best mimosa I have ever had. The only thing I would change would be the instant coffee available free in the rooms. (Much better coffee is available for purchase at the cafe.) We appreciated the tea kettle and understand not wanting another whole coffee set-up. But there are much better instant coffees out there these days than Nescafe. A place like The Good House should have a better option. But this is very minor. We are excited to return someday soon!

This was one of the best places to bring a group of friends to relax, catch up and enjoy the sun. The pools are both wonderful and all the amenities just add even more to this already lush oasis. While I didn’t stay in the room, my brother did and said was the best sleep he’s had in awhile. Even if you just go for the day it’s worth it- the food there is beyond delicious- you’ll be talking about it for days and wanting to go back for more. The host Van was absolutely extraordinary! He made our day there extra special (it was my birthday celebration). Everyone of my guests mentioned how great his hospitality and attitude was. I can’t recommend this place enough- if you want a peaceful getaway or a group retreat- this place is perfect !

We love staying at the Good House, wonderful amenities, lovely staff, super quiet and tranquil. Great place to get away and rejuvenate.

Love this place. Love the grounds, the rooms, and the pool. Minor criticism, Water heater in my room did not work in the evening. There was no Staff on site, Had to do multiple phone calls with an after hours person to arrange maintenance. Maintenance worker showed up almost 2 hours later, did something, but no hot water until the next morning. On-Site Staff would have been helpful.

Disappointed that we couldn’t use the sauna. A tree is in front of the door. It would not open all the way. Our back patio was completely missed at clean up. Broken tree, two broken branches blocking our door. Broken lamps on the ground. Broken chair arm rest. Also, more signage is needed QUIET ZONE. Two day pass ladies came in on our last day and were sooooo loud. Talking, and phone usage. Ridiculous.

Love the relaxed homey vibe of this place! If you are looking for a quick getaway to relax and spend the entire time at the hotel this is the place in desert hot springs.

Exactly what you pay for. Polite knowledgeable staff, good food , comfortable surroundings.

The property was cute, unique, and had a boutique feel. The only problem was that they allow day-use guests and so the pool you thought you were going to share with just a handful of guests at this small boutique hotel gets filled with people during the day. We got back from our hike ready to cool off only to find there wasnt a single lounge chair available and this continued until 5pm. So much for our relaxing weekend by the pool!
