Bayside Inn Key Largo

Reception staff, TJ was fantastic, she made us feel very welcome and happy for us to be there. She is a credit to the hotel. Rooms were nice and clean, paddle boards and bikes available to use. Lots of beautiful scenery.

Pay a little extra to get a room overlooking the sea was very worthwhile - beautiful.

The staff was very friendly and the gardens were beautiful!

Between our group's three rooms, all of them were dirty, one had roaches, one had a bath mat with black dirt all over it and no fitted sheet on one of the beds, two had holes in bath towels, and there was mold on the ice bucket lid. One room's door wouldn't latch unless you slammed it, which was a serious safety concern because of the motel-style entry and having young kids in the room. The beach towels were given at check-in had hair and lint on them. The "beach" was dirty sand littered with trash on a concrete slab with access to dirty bay water. The outdoor games were broken or missing pieces. We've stayed in other bayside properties which much cleaner and nicer beach areas. The one employee at the front desk was also the one delivering our missing sheet and she was not able to initiate or approve refunds. Her manager was unresponsive. We checked out after one night but were charged $1,000 more than we should have been and are still battling with the property and Booking.com for a refund. The pictures of the property are entirely misleading. Such a disappointment.

Great location on the sunset side of the Keys. Room was comfortable. We had a Juliet balcony overlooking the bay with lovely sunset views

We didn’t like having to ask for room service rather than the room being automatically checked each day to top up coffee/water and change the towels and bedding when necessary. For the price we paid, we felt that this should come as standard.
