Lansdowne Resort and Spa

this place is exceptional. quiet, peaceful, and beautiful. The best part was the BED! super comfortable and a delight to sleep on. Everyone is super nice and attentive.

Chacko was the best server! We enjoyed dinner so much. He made is a true celebration!

Room overall was clean and comfortable although a "little" dated (i.e. carpet, tile in bathroom). Had problems with bill - someone else charged to my room and it took two calls to resolve! First person kept insisting problem was due to how room was booked via wedding event site. Finally got second person to realize what the charge was for! Don't really feel resort fee is "fair" if you don't use any of the amenities there - couldn't due to events planned for the wedding at nearby winery. Lastly, dining room wasn't open when wanted to go - inconvenient. Overall, would not stay there again. Feel it's "overrated" in comparison to other hotels of this price range. Lastly, room service staff were very nice and made stay enjoyable!

Lansdowne was the ideal location for our small staff retreat. The meeting space was spotless, well-appointed, and setup was a breeze. This hotel's team of people clearly know what they are doing -- and customer service was incredible. Excellent food, as well. All in all, we will be back for future meetings!

This was my family's first visit to Lansdowne Resort. I was glad the drive was less than an hour since driving from DC. The service was great, professional and welcoming. Upon entering into the lobby, the smell of aroma scents filled the air. After settling in we took a tour of the property. The views especially during the early evening hours out back are amazing! The dinner at Cotton Rye was very good and our waitress Shelly Ann was excellent. The room was nice however the resort should consider having 2 Queen Beds instead of 2 Doubles. It's very difficult to sleep in a double bed for parents(if your not small) while the kids are sleeping in rhe other bed.

My 4th visit to this resort. Such a beautiful resort with friendly staff. We had such a great time at the pool and in the fitness center. Tyrone was a great instructor for the class we took. Another magical experience on this visit. My only want would be a later breakfast option. The buffet is great but wish it went past 10:15. $30 is reasonable except my friend and I don’t each big meals so felt like it was expensive for what we actually ate. Overall excellent experience at the resort.
