Everline Resort and Spa, Lake Tahoe

Spent 4 nights at the Everline Resort for a business meeting. Beautiful location and I found the facilities to be in good shape. The forte of the resort clearly is to cater to skier/snowboarders. Not on Lake Tahoe, but it is a relatively short drive away. Plenty of places to bike and hike nearby as well. Stopped by the large pool twice in the late afternoon. Never a problem finding a chaise. Overall, the service is hit and miss. The pool service and bar service at Sandy's were consistently excellent throughout my stay. Front desk staff--not so much. Not particularly friendly or welcoming at check-in. Had to call the front desk numerous times to try to reach the car valet. Frequently, it would ring unanswered. Also, had to call about housekeeping and/or refreshing of bath towels. Despite spending $2,000 during my stay (and being a Hyatt Explorist member), no one even bothered to ask how my stay was at checkout.

I’m not the type to leave bad reviews, but this place managed to earn it We booked an overnight stay as a quick little getaway before my daughter started school. The hotel itself was nice enough. The room looked like it had survived the early 2000s untouched, but it got the job done We chose valet parking for convenience, despite the $65 fee. When I went to pick up my car, the valet had lost my backup keys. And the reaction was like a shrug, like I’d just told them they were out of ketchup packets They promised to file a claim and follow up. Spoiler: they didn’t. Ive had to chase them down. Losing someone’s keys isn’t just a minor inconvenience, it’s a security issue, especially if you’ve got personal or sensitive stuff in your car And here’s the kicker: they still charged me for valet. They lose my keys, act like it’s no big deal, never follow up, and then bill me for it? Yeah, no thanks I wouldn’t stay here again, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone who values professionalism, or their car keys

Nice resort but overall service is lacking. The breakfast was good and service excellent, but the rest of the restaurants were "ok". The room was comfortable (bed, linens, etc.) and the common areas very nice. Valet service was very marginal - understaffed and not responsive.

Hotel is nice, but weddings take over a huge chunk of the resort grounds. The kids play area and patio are replaced with a giant tent. Loud music plays until late, and if you're using the gym you'll be doing so in front of hundreds of wedding guests. I'd think such a large property could find a better place to host the weddings. Charging guests a $50 daily resort fee while repurposing many of the resort amenities (especially for families with kids) is pretty callous.

What a beautiful setting and location! The Olympic village is charming and the property is a quick 10 minute drive into Tahoe City. I didn’t take enough pictures, but this resort has a ton of fun games for kids, a really fun water slide, and a large pool area with 3 hot tubs. Great experience!

Stunning location. Suites are perfect for an extended stay. Fine dining onsite delicious. Shuttle to village for more dining options without driving. Bike trails, hiking. They have added lawn games in the past few years which just add to the resort experience.

Location is great and very beautiful. But it is over priced with bad customer service. I have membership with Marriott and Hilton and used Hyatt first time. I was very disappointed with service. Front desk staff are very cold and not friendly. All staff are more like that they do not enjoy their jobs here. Front desk staff does not give out any information about resort when checking in. They don’t know much about resort services either. They told us house keeping services are every 3rd day but it is daily upon request. They don’t seem to honor any privileges of Hyatt members either. Any service with restaurants have many hidden charges and very different than what they advertised. They advertise only discounts but no hidden charges. You have to pay also tips on top of those charges. I was here for the conference for 5 days but I will never stay here again. There are many cheaper places with better service around. I like the location but not this resort. this resort is overrated in my opinion. After 5 days stay, I don’t feel anything good about the resort. The room was very small with worst view. Nothing was given free but charges for money. Any activity was more expensive than other places. We have to wait for check in even though we were on right check in time. They request to check out on time even my conference ends on 11:10 am. They want us to check out in time 11am. They seem to put all the customers with baby on same floor and I hear baby cries every night. By the way. Food was not good either in Sandy Pub. The French fries was soggy and not fresh at all, not sure why this resort is more than 4 star rate. It is really overrated.

From the rooms to the amenities - stunning! Very relaxing and clean. The staff was wonderful, kind, and professional! We had left some items in our safe that easily could've been stolen but the housekeepers were honest and full of integrity which made the overall experience even better. We had our items back, 1/2 way across the country, within 3 days. I would recommend renting a car and going to see all of the surroundings. We drove into Tahoe City almost daily - kayaking, biking, rafting, lakefront beaches, shopping, etc. We did a horseback ride through the mountains as well.

The decor is so old and outdated. It looks like they have never done a renovation. I was there 19 years ago and it all looks the same except for the name. The furniture is chipped and the carpet is the hotel rooms is less than desirable. One of the appliances did not work in the room. The food in Six Peaks was under cooked and terrible cuts. The bar tender in Sandy's Pub was rude. There was also great team members. Matthew was a great sever in Six Peaks. It was not his fault the food was undercooked. The Golf was great and prices were good. The staff working the breakfast buffet were very kind and professional. As a Globalist I would expect the team to know what benefits we receive and several l items were not delivered upon.

Attended a business conference and the facilities were very good. But the hotel venue was outstanding! The crisp mountain air, the beautiful scenery, was so breathtaking! So much to do, biking, hiking, swimming, and so many rafting excursions. The staff was so good to assist with the off-site adventures and they have shuttle service to Olympic Village and Tahoe City. Did I mention the golf? So nice.
