Everline Resort and Spa, Lake Tahoe

I only stayed a couple of nights via a booking on AirBNB at significantly reduced cost. I would not stay here at full price simply because I don't think I would've gotten that much value out of it. We spent all day out and about Lake Tahoe and only came back to the room to sleep and to go to the pool once. The room had some slight wear and tear but was otherwise nice. The pool was a bit chilly at night, and the small hot tubs were incredibly overcrowded. It was fourth of July weekend so that probably factored into it. The Monday after the holiday, the hotel (and pool) was very quiet and empty.

The resort is old and in major need of an update. The poool/spa/hot tub area is old and really needs to be updated. A resort of this "caliber" should really do better.

Terrible food. Terrible service Rooms are dated. Staff not helpful with anything but the job function they were hired for. Lack of any information about the area. So many things…….. stay somewhere else.

We have stayed at this resort several times and overall really love it. The room is always nice and the pool is excellent. This time around though the bathroom was not great. Super small and the shower might have been the worst we’ve ever experienced. Zero water pressure (basically a trickle) and was lukewarm at best. Really disappointing considering this is not a cheap place to stay. Also the second night we were blessed with the noisiest and most thoughtless across the hall neighbors ever. Completely ruined both the evening and the next morning (super loud in the hall late at night and then woke early to screaming children). We’ve always liked this resort for its peaceful and relaxing atmosphere, such a bummer.

Amazing location. very close to Lake Tahoe and many excellent trails. Pool was amazing. Amenities in the resort are truly outstanding. Strong recommend the suite with kitchenette for families with children.

Needs to update rooms and be more clean.

Parking staff rude and check in girl had attitude. Hotel needs upgrading! Carpet stained, decor outdated, fixtures old. Food at the Cafe was poorly flavored. Golf course poorly groomed and grass in bad shape. Self parking is a long uphill walk and $35/ night? $5 for a bottle of water in the room...ridiculous for a room without a view that is almost $500. The valley is beautiful winter and summer, the hotel accommodations need to match.

Our AC didn’t work and the staff at the pub forgot our order and items several times. We love the property but for what you pay had hoped for better.
