Adams View Hotel

Location was good, quiet and away from the central area, but only a short ride down there. Bike hire for 400 peso per 24hrs (just be prepared to fill the tank as we received it empty). Staff were super friendly and helpful!

Empty tank when hiring the bike, so had to go fill it up. A few ants around the room and not bed (but nothing too bad).

There is now a building site in front of the hotel so it didn't look appealing. We had to wait 2 hours extra for our room, apparently the previous guest was charged extra but we weren't compensated. Room 201 at the back of the hotel had 24hr cockerals crowing and an unbearably noisy aircon unit. Eventually after complaints we were given a room at the front albeit quiet the aircon was not very efficient. The bathroom shower screen was useless as the whole floor got wet and the shower head needed replacing or descaling. The toilet had no douche. There was only one bed side table, the wardrobe was useless so we lived out of the suitcase and there's nowhere for toiletries. The staff were pleasant, there was scooter hire for 400php, which was needed due to the proximity to the beach. The pool was ok but only 3 sunbeds for the whole hotel! Breakfast was not to European tastes (to be expected) so we sourced our own, there was no fridge in the room, but they allowed us to use their cold drinks fridge, tea, coffee and water were freely available. Overall for comparable money it was more hostel level than hotel, I'm sure adequate for the younger generation.

Bedroom /bathroom need maintenance. Photos are better than the reality. I also didn't find the bedroom very cleaned. It's a noisy hotel.

Lots of ants in the hotel room and in the dining room… Furniture and doors looks old and fragile.
