Pool hot tub clean rooms and a solid breakfast

After my experience of the wausau la quinta we will never return nor recommend anyone. To start with I was told incorrect info that I could have used cash to pay for the room and card for the incident fee hold. So I placed the money on to my debit card and payed booking .com. whem we got there the lady was so very short with me on asking questions. I had pre-registered but she did not find it till after she had me recheck in. I believe doing this caused the issue of booking .com that followed after. She said she only saw 1 room paid for and other had not and I needed to pay $168 more . I explained i had prepaid at booking. Com and they had my funds. Basically would not listen to me and called her manager nick. He as well said i had to pay more or i wont get theroom. He said i needed to call booking myself and figure out. I sat on hold with them for over an 1hr tring to sort out when the front cleark came and asked me to cone up front. While waiting I saw a second security hold on my account come through and she gave me new keys for both rooms and said " nick says your good now so here you are" . At that time we left the hotel around 5pm to celebrate my birthday. When we got back to the hotel our keycards were disabled when we walked back down to the desk she said " let me guess 222? This was email to us from booking. Com. You still owe us money " i asked so as explained before booking has the funds I dont have the extra cash our stuff is up in the room if were not allowed to stay then? She replied " i cant let you into the room unless you pay" i said you cant hold our items as hostage I will call the cops then as one room was paid even by your records. She then called nick and told him what was happening after another 20 mins of waiting they finally let us up in the room. There was no call to myself to say they were locking us out and definitely uncaring of what was happening. Totally uncalled for and definitely wrecked my trip all for a mistake on there end .

Night clerk was not friendly, or welcoming.

This LaQuinta was so pleasant. Very clean and surrounded by lots of good stores and restaurants. But the indoor pool and hot tub plus my very clean, modern room made this experience extra pleasant. Thank you, LaQuinta.

A localização é excelente. Os quartos são espaçosos e exatamente como nas fotos. A cama é super confortavel e sua localização é excelente para quem precisa ir para Granite Peak. O hotel fica bem pertinho de alguns restaurantes e farmácias....Sem dúvida, a localização é um diferencial deste hotel. Ter café disponível durante todo o dia no lobby é bem legal no período de frio. E os Muffins servidos no café da manhã são bem gostosos!

De uma atendente que ficava na recepção no período da noite. Ela parecia extremamente incomodada com a minha presença. Não foi mal educada, mas era extremamente impaciente e rude/direta (as vezes num tom de voz grosseiro). E o motivo? Não faço ideia! Me pareceu preconceito por eu ser Brasileiro. Pois desde o momento que cheguei no hotel para fazer o meu check-in e ela percebeu pelo meu sotaque, que eu não era Norte-americano, ela "fez caras" de desgosto e teve atitudes demonstrando insatisfação com a minha presença. Mesmo eu falando inglês fluente e com zero dificuldade em me comunicar no idioma. No serviço de limpeza dos quartos, não arrumaram a cama, não limparam o quarto e não fizeram a reposição de sabonete e itens de higiene pessoal. Apenas trocaram as toalhas. Os demais atendentes são super cordiais e educados. Principalmente os que ficam no período da manhã e próximo ao lobby.
