La Quinta Inn by Wyndham Wausau

The location, close to the hospital for a procedures.

The room was under the stairs - incredibly loud. Could not sleep at all. The tub was a roll-in shower with a chair, which my husband needs. However, it was not made so the water stayed inside to drain. When he showered the water went all over the bathroom floor and out the door. We spent some time mopping it all up with towels.

Everyting about our stay was wonderful . From the gals that checked us in, the breakfast in the morning , as well as the room . The bed and pillows were so very comfortable !!

The bed was comfortable. The free breakfast was a very nice perk! The front desk person was very nice but she didn't seem confident in what she was doing and check-in was very slow.

The bathroom smelled strongly of urine. The room smelled liked dogs. There should be designated rooms where pets are allowed and most where pets are NOT allowed. The whole experience would have been different if we didn't have to put up with the smell.

Gym had great amenities

Not worth $115 a night. I’m guessing that’s the “late booking” rate.

I didn’t find the room as sparkling clean as in the past. The room itself & wheel in shower were easy to use & comfortably.
