Royal Lahaina Resort & Bungalows

Promised one self parking rate then charged over double quoted rate.

This was my wife and my first trip to Maui. We have always gone to Waikiki. Our stay at the Royal Lahaina Resort & Bungalows was excellent. We had a garden view room with a king size bed, perfect size for the 2 of us. The whole resort area was beautiful and well maintained. There are 2 pools with lots of lounge chairs and easy access to a beautiful beach. The food was very good in the restaurant, and they had a good happy hour menu. We will come back to Maui, and stay at the Royal Lahaina Resort & Bungalows again.

WOW. If you are looking for that unique experience for a special occasion, then look no forward than the royal suite at the Royal Lahaina Resort. This suite can sleep 5 couples and lots of room to spare. We hosted a private dinner event for 10 people in the back yard of the suite. It was such a stunning environment with the ocean, beach, pool, and sunset in the background. The staff at this property set the standard for hospitality and true professionalism. The catering team were so detailed and passionate about our reception and dinner. The food was amazing. The service was flawless. This team really put in the effort to spoil our guests and create a special ambience. By far, this is the most memorable dining experience that I have encountered. I can't wait to go back and do it again. BRAVO to fantastic team at the Royal Lahaina Resort.

Good hotel with adorable price and good services

Our stay at the bungalow couldn’t have been better. The property is quintessential Hawaiian, staff is attentive, professional and kind. The finishes in our bungalow were top end and the yard pool jacuzzi and direct beach access made it even better. We even met GM Steve and he couldn’t have been more hospitable. For a special time our group of 8 highly recommends this resort

Everything was amazing...don't go if you want the scene. Do if you want chill, island, cultural vibes with relaxed folks off the beaten paths. We had a great time

Limited menu on the restaurant. We had to go out to enjoy other cuisine. But the restaurant crew is very friendly and helpful.

What a wonderful hotel. If you want a genuine Hawaii experience without commercial influences (Marriott, Hilton, Hyatt) this is the hotel for you. The staff were amazing and gave us an upgrade when we checked in. The property is beautiful with gardens and paths. North Kaanapali Beach feels more private and exclusive than south. The beach is amazing not rocky with soft golden sand. Snorkeling is amazing and the water crystal clear. We saw turtles and a sea lion! Black rock is super close and I would highly recommend the cliff diving. Overall would definitely recommend the hotel.

What a treat! We booked here last minute after another accommodation fell through, and we wished we would have been here the whole time. The rooms are lovely, very clean, and though it's a small thing, the toiletries were super nice. Booth pools were great - well maintained, lots of beach chairs and umbrellas around. My one tiny complaint is we didn't see a hot tub, which would have been nice during the rainy days. Food was very good - we loved the breakfast buffet, and there were nice options for the kids. We'll definitely be back!

The Royal Lahaina is a piece of heaven in Maui. Positioned between two resort rows, it offers a peaceful oasis that’s still conveniently located to the bars and restaurants nearby. The beach is beautiful and the hotel is well maintained! Stacey at the front desk was extra helpful and make our stay lovely from the second we got here!
