We had a great stay at the Black Horse. The staff were really friendly and helpful. Our room was really lovely and the food in the restaurant was delicious.

Very nice room, comfortable and tastefully decorated. Amberly village is beautiful. The bar, restaurant and outside area were lovely. Dinner was high end, great food, skillfully cooked with top notch ingredients. The full English breakfast was superb

We had to wait at least 20 minutes on arrival for someone to be available to greet us and check us in. Then the person who did that was quite brusque, when after such a long delay a little warmth would not have gone amiss. The same person served us for pre dinner drinks and again there was a long wait. At breakfast we were the first to arrive, after a delay our order was taken then other customers arrived and they ordered (a very similar order to our own). They got served first.

Excellent Restaurant, wonderful staff.

The staff were very friendly and accommodating especially anice who greeted upon arrival.She helped us sort out our bikes and settle in. The food was amazing and with the generous portions well worth the money . The room was superb , comfy and warm and the area was quiet which helped with a great nights sleep. The staff were on their game throughout . Really lovely people .An asset to any business.

Excellent helpful staff.

Disappointing supper. Our braised beef was dry with a hard, difficult to cut surface. It was not possible to have breakfast before 9.00. Only pod coffee available before that time. We found that very odd and inconvenient. It meant that we had to leave without a breakfast.
