Holywell House

Lovely stay in an old vicerage. Lez and Dereck are lovely hosts with a great attention for detail. Breakfast was excellent and generously protioned. The dining room was decorated like a very posh house with antique furniture and ornaments. I particularle liked the small bronze stag that was the centerpiece of the main table! Having learnt that they had won four in a bed i felt i had to carryout a in depth examination of the room to see if i could find fault. Not a chance, their obviously high standards were not just done for a tv program but maintained as a default position. Many thanks

Comfortable beds, interesting eclectic decor, helpful hosts, great breakfast and handy location for Loughborough town centre.

Our room had several tall windows with blinds but no curtains, which let through a lot of light around the edges (not ideal with young kids in the middle of summer). No high chair provided at breakfast.

A more powerful shower would be welcome, but not a problem and would not stop me returning.
