Residence Inn by Marriott Dallas Frisco

This location was in our Top 3 favorites however there seems to be some changes going on that we're not fond of. Pros: Customer service is and has always been great. From the bartender to the front desk personnel, to the engineering team, to housekeeping. They continue to offer superior customer service. Cons: This is where we have issues. I specifically reserved a 2-bedroom suite, corner room. We prefer this room type because it is a bit larger than the standard 2-bedroom suite, and it offers the needed extra space for our teenage son and all of his "extra" gaming stuff. Upon arrival that [Thursday] afternoon, I was informed that all of the larger, corner 2-bedroom suites were already occupied. The booking was SPECIFICALLY for a corner room, and I did not get what I booked. We are extremely disappointed! The next issue is about the luggage carts. It seems that there are only 3 carts for guest use. We had to make multiple trips to get our luggage to the room. You guys have to do better with that!!! Parking: We have stayed at this location multiple times and I do not remember paying $30 per night for valet or $30 per night to park in the self-parking garage. Although the valets are extremely nice, and the service is convenient, the price is high. Street parking only offers a few spaces, so you are generally forced to pay the high parking fees. Breakfast: I remember better breakfast in the past. In particular, the eggs are... different. I think it is egg substitute, but they are not good at all. There are not many choices for breakfast but if you need a quick bite, it will do. Air Conditioning: Our a/c unit stop working one afternoon. We were on the 7th floor, so the temp got hot pretty quickly. Engineering came by and did a few things, but it shut off again during around 3am. To add injury, the HEAT icon was on and started blowing warm air when I looked to adjust it. This was an End of the Summer Trip for our teenage son. We picked this preferred location based on the larger 2-bedroom suite that we did not get. This was a major disappointing stay for us. I do not feel like we got our money's worth for the price we paid for 3 nights.

We have had the best stay. Your hotel is gorgeous and relaxing. Your staff is amazing!!! We worked with Marty and Rob on a room change (with a bathtub). We ordered in room service the first night. The bartender was great and he made the best espresso martinis. The food is excellent and we would eat here even if not staying. We had scallops, fettuccine with prosciutto, and the steak. The breakfast server was so accommodating ensuring we had everything we needed before she closed up and the coffee was very good. We come to frisco for soccer tournaments and will continue to stay in your establishment. You have done an excellent job procuring your staff and they deserve a big round of applause and accolades for their excellent service and hospitality.

Went for soccer tournament and Rob Smith and the rest of the staff were amazing. Very clean and quiet rooms. Would stay again for sure!

Within walking distance from ford center.

Breakfast was awesome. Though they could use more vegetarian options on th hot buffet.

Parking garage was hard to get out of. And the expectation is to use the valet service.

Pretty nice free breakfast options, Friendly staff, proximity to event we made the trip for, nice luxery feel to the hotel. Parking situation could have been better, especially for friends and family visiting. But considering the area and location it wasn't terrible.

Wonderful customer service, Chris was phenomenal . Very fulfilling and was beyond my expectations, I love the mini condiments.
