Ella Breeze Homestay

We absolutely loved it, I dare say it was our best stay in Sri Lanka. The surroundings are absolutely beautiful (especially if you like birds!), the room is comfortable, the balcony is really enjoyable. But most of all: the owner is a wonderful person, who will go above and beyond to help you and make sure you have a great stay. We hiked from there to Ella's Rock, following the train rail at first and it was really amazing. Thank you so much for this stay!!!

Wow! An oasis just 20 minutes outside of Ella. I would recommend this beautiful accommodation to anyone, espically if you need some peace & rest. Everything was perfect- comfortable bed, clean, hot water, clean spring water that comes out of the taps, delicious home cook meals & a stunning view. The host is so loving and really does everything with his heart, he is so kind and generous. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for all your help & for making me feel so welcomed. I will truly miss this place.

Amazing stay! Devaka was really welcoming and friendly - and even picked us up after our long day of hiking and dropped us back off the next day! Great stop off for anyone doing the Pekoe Trail - we finished the day in Makulella/at Allimale Junction and got picked up from here (only 5 min drive). Delicious food too!

We had a amazing stay here, the rooms are very new, good water pressure and very clean. You can enjoy a nice view from the balcony. The owner is a great host, and loves to show you around his garden, and have a good chat with you. Definitely recommend this place. Thank you again for the unforgettable stay!

Best stay ever!! Everything was amazing!! The extremely caring host, the comfortable great room, bed, lighting, amazing view to the train tracks and lush nature. We immediately felt like part of the family. Devaka has been showing us around his beautiful garden. He is generous, warm -hearted- a very great person! He got deep into our hearts. He brings the word "homestay" to another level- never have we felt so at home in such short time!! We got a tea from his own garden every day as well! The food is home cooked and of course also very delicious. It is the best authentic caring beautiful homestay ever in Sri Lanka

we had a great time with our host. he made us really feel like home. shared a lot about his culture and spend a wonderful evening with us. he know sooo many places to see around which are magical and not touristy. defenitelly stay at least 3 nights, to have a rest and enjoy all the hikes and waterfalls

Very good location in Ella and close to all fantastic hikes nearby. The host was fantastic helpful with everything, and made our visit very Well!

Loved the location, it's about 20 minutes drive from Ella town but I enjoyed driving up and down through the mountains. Great view from the balcony and host was very helpful. Would stay again
